HARVEY AND TWO FRIENDS

Ghost Story On Ouija Board

By Ashkar KhanPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

It was a dark and stormy night in the small town of Millfield. Harvey, a young boy of 10 years old, was huddled under his covers, listening to the howling wind and the pounding rain. He was scared, but not just because of the storm. No, Harvey was scared because he had a secret. A secret that only his two best friends knew.

Their names were Emily and Jacob, and they had been friends since they were toddlers. They did everything together, from playing on the swings in the park to exploring the abandoned house on the edge of town. But their favorite thing to do was to tell ghost stories. They would gather in Harvey's room, with a flashlight in the center, and take turns scaring each other with tales of haunted houses and restless spirits.

One night, while they were telling ghost stories, Harvey had a sudden idea. "What if we tried to actually talk to a ghost?" he suggested. Emily and Jacob looked at him skeptically, but Harvey was already pulling out a piece of paper and a pen. "I read about this online," he said. "It's called a Ouija board. We can use it to contact spirits."

Emily and Jacob weren't sure about the idea, but Harvey was insistent. He had done his research and had even found a Ouija board online that they could print out and use. So, reluctantly, they agreed to try it.

They waited until the stormy night, when the veil between the living and the dead was said to be thinnest. They lit candles and turned off all the lights, and Harvey placed the Ouija board in the center of the room. They all put their hands on the planchette and began to ask questions.

At first, there was no response. But then, slowly but surely, the planchette began to move. It spelled out words like "hello" and "who are you?" The kids were amazed and a little scared. They asked the spirit more questions, but the answers were vague and nonsensical.

Then, suddenly, the planchette spelled out the name "Harvey." The kids were shocked. How did the spirit know Harvey's name? They asked more questions, but the spirit didn't respond.

The kids eventually went to bed, still a little spooked but excited by what had happened. The next day, they decided to try the Ouija board again, but this time, they got a different spirit. This one spelled out the name "Abigail" and seemed more talkative than the first.

Over the next few weeks, the kids became obsessed with the Ouija board. They would use it every night, talking to different spirits and trying to uncover the mysteries of the afterlife. But as time went on, strange things began to happen in Harvey's house.

Objects would move on their own, and strange noises could be heard in the middle of the night. Harvey's parents blamed it on the wind or the old pipes in the house, but the kids knew better. They had awoken something with the Ouija board, something that wasn't happy to be disturbed.

One night, the planchette on the Ouija board spelled out a warning: "Leave now." The kids didn't listen, and instead continued to ask questions. But the spirit became more and more agitated, spelling out words like "danger" and "go away."

Suddenly, the candles went out, and the room was plunged into darkness. The kids screamed, but when Harvey's parents came to investigate, they found nothing out of the ordinary. The Ouija board was gone, and the planchette was nowhere to be found.
