Once upon a time, on the distant and forgotten hills of Edinburgh, there lived a young woman named Mary. Mary was beautiful and kind, her soul so pure it was said that only the purest of souls could even catch a glimpse of her.
But, alas, her life was not to be simply blessed by the hands of fate. Unknown to Mary, a great evil had taken refuge in a nearby abandoned manor located deep in the darkest reaches of the woods.
Mary decided one day to venture into the woods to carry out some chores that required her to be away from home. Little did she know the dangers that lurked in the shadows of the trees. As she made her way deeper into the forest, a strange and sinister presence seemed to be following her.
Suddenly, a pack of wolves emerged from the darkness, snarling and growling at Mary as she stood petrified in fear. But just as quickly as they had appeared,
Just as the wolves began to circle Mary, they suddenly stopped in their tracks and ran away, leaving Mary alone and shaken in the woods. She slowly made her way back to her home, feeling grateful and relieved to be safe again. However, as she passed through the forest she couldn’t help but feel a strange presence still looming over her. What had scared away the wolves? What else lurked in the shadows of the trees?
Mary was relieved to make it back to safety, but her relief was short-lived. As she made her way back home, she heard more strange noises behind her. Looking back, she saw a group of shadows following her. She ran faster, but they seemed to always be just a few steps behind her. When she reached her house, she rushed inside and quickly locked the door. Peering out the window, she saw the group of creatures standing outside, watching her every move.
Mary went to her bedroom and sat down on her bed. She didn't feel comfortable being home alone anymore, so she decided to call up some of her friends to come over. After they'd all arrived, they decided to stay up all night, keeping watch for any more shadows that might appear. Mary felt safer with her friends by her side, and although the shadows had gone for now, she knew that danger lurked outside.
Mary shook in fear as she tried to come up with a plan. She was too scared to go back outside, so she had to find a way to make them go away. Searching her house, she found a makeshift weapon and decided it was better than nothing. She waited for what felt like an eternity until the shadows finally dispersed. Mary breathed a deep sigh of relief, knowing she was safe for now.
Mary and her friends talked for hours about what might be going on and how best to stay safe. As the night went on, the group began to come up with ideas for what kind of protection they could find or make in order to keep any suspicious figures away. They discussed different strategies and went through several plans, but none of them seemed complete. Just as the group was about to give up, Mary thought of one more idea.
Mary went to her bedroom and sat down on her bed. She didn't feel comfortable being home alone anymore, so she decided to call up some of her friends to come over. After they'd all arrived, they decided to stay up all night, keeping watch for any more shadows that might appear.
