Tell
It was a dark and stormy night, and Sarah was driving home from her friend's house. She had stayed later than expected and was now on a deserted road surrounded by dense forest. The rain was coming down in sheets, making it hard for her to see the road ahead. Suddenly, her car began to sputter and then came to a complete stop. She tried to start the engine, but it wouldn't turn over. Panic set in as she realized she was completely stranded.
She searched through her purse for her phone but realized she had left it at her friend's house. She was completely alone with no way to call for help. She thought about walking to the nearest town, but it was too far, and she couldn't see anything in the darkness. So, she decided to stay in her car until the storm passed and someone came along to help.
As she sat in her car, she heard strange noises coming from the forest. It sounded like someone or something was moving around outside. She tried to ignore it, but the noise grew louder and more persistent. She locked all the doors and rolled up the windows, hoping that would keep whatever was outside from getting in.
But the noises continued, and Sarah began to feel uneasy. She turned on the car's headlights to see if she could catch a glimpse of what was making the noise. That's when she saw it. A figure appeared in the distance, walking towards her car. It was tall and had a ghostly appearance. Sarah's heart raced as she realized it was a ghost.
The ghost approached the car and tried to open the doors, but they were locked. It then began to tap on the windows, trying to get in. Sarah was terrified and didn't know what to do. She tried to start the car again, but it wouldn't budge. The ghost continued to tap on the windows, and Sarah could feel its cold breath on her neck.
Suddenly, the tapping stopped, and Sarah looked up to see the ghost had disappeared. She let out a sigh of relief, but her relief was short-lived. A few minutes later, the tapping started again, but this time it was coming from the back of the car. Sarah turned around to see the ghost trying to break into the trunk.
She watched in horror as the ghost used its supernatural strength to pry open the trunk. Sarah's heart sank as she realized what was inside. It was the body of a young girl, her eyes open and her expression frozen in terror. Sarah screamed and tried to get out of the car, but the doors were still locked.
The ghost turned around and looked at Sarah, and then disappeared into the night. Sarah was left alone with the dead girl's body. She knew she had to get out of there and find help, but she was paralyzed with fear. She sat in the car, shivering and crying, until she finally fell asleep.
When she woke up the next morning, the storm had passed, and the sun was shining. She opened the car door and stepped outside, feeling relieved that the nightmare was over. But as she walked around to the back of the car, she saw that the trunk was still open. And inside, the body of the young girl was still there.
Sarah ran as fast as she could to the nearest town, where she reported what had happened to the police. They searched the area and found no trace of the ghost or any other evidence of foul play. But Sarah knew what she had seen, and she would never forget the horror she experienced that night.
Years later, Sarah still thinks about that night and wonders what would have happened if she had never made it out of that car alive. She still can't explain what she saw, but she knows that the ghost she encountered was real
