Storyline: A Nightmare Reunion

Beth, a guitar tech who goes to visit her estranged sister Ellie, who is a single mother living in a condemned Los Angeles apartment complex. What begins as an uncomfortable family reunion turns into a bloodbath when an earthquake uncovers a secret room in the basement. In this secret room, Ellie realizes that her son Danny found the Necronomicon (Book of the Dead) and, out of curiosity, played a cursed vinyl record—releasing fleshpossessing demons (Deadites).

Ellie and the other members of the family are possessed by the Deadites. They transform into a monstrous form of themselves and attack their own family members—Danny, Bridget, and Kassie.
