Mysterious stories about ghosts often appearing on the streets, in abandoned castles or haunted houses are too familiar to everyone. But stories about drowned ghosts, souls under water are not heard by everyone. Stories about water ghosts are also very scary, mysterious, no less than ghosts on land.

Incidents involving water ghosts are equally creepy and fascinating.

Stories about ghosts lurking in ancient castles or abandoned buildings have always been a topic that attracts the curiosity of those who are interested. Besides, the existence of ghosts who drowned and resided underwater, although less mentioned, the incidents related to it are no less creepy and fascinating.

The water ghost hunters

There are dozens of psychics who specialize in researching and studying spiritual phenomena all over the world, but finding a genuine diver medium is not easy. It is known that these psychic divers are not like other spiritual researchers.

A group of paranormal divers in Florida, USA, founded the world's first underwater paranormal research center called Paranormal Divers. The group specializes in researching spirits living in all types of water sources in the world. During the process, the group of paranormal divers encountered many terrifying experiences when facing spirits hiding underwater.

The first recorded water ghost photo in the world.

During an aquarium expedition, this group of psychics discovered a strange , inexplicable light flashing in the water under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa, Florida.

The incident would not have been so thrilling if it had not gone back to the events of the 1980s. It is known that in this year, the Skyway Bridge collapsed, causing the deaths of 35 people traveling on the bridge at the time. According to the people living nearby, the Skyway Bridge is also a place where suicides often occur. Since 1987, when the bridge was completed, more than 200 people have taken their own lives here. Is there any connection between those deaths and that strange light?

On another expedition, the group of psychics also captured ghosts living underwater . This is considered the world's first underwater ghost photo. They said the photo was taken in a flooded cave at a depth of 40m underwater. After hearing a scream coming from deep in the cave, a member quickly took a photo of this scene. It can be seen that in the photo, there is a faint image of someone's face floating on the dark, chilling water.

According to reports, this ghost is the spirit of another diver who died here, and the scream mentioned above is also from that person.

Ghost engine sunk in Truk Bay still running

The engines appear to still be... running despite being submerged in water for more than half a century.

Once a battlefield between the US and Japan in 1944, the bottom of Truk Bay not only contains the wreckage of 60 ships and 275 planes, but also thousands of human remains.

The Japanese ship Hoki Maru sank with a cargo full of trucks. Now divers report hearing the sound of engines turning off or starting, even when there is no ship above the water. These strange reports also come from the Fuji Kawamaru where the noise comes from the engine room.

Despite being submerged in water for more than half a century, these water ghost hunters can still clearly hear the sound of engines turning on and off, even when there are no ships operating above the water surface. Specifically, the sound of engines running is confirmed to come from the Japanese ships Hoki Maru and Fuji Kawamaru .

The Destination Truth team explored the underwater ruins of Truk Bay, and were amazed to hear underwater machinery. They also reported sounds that sounded like human voices.

The mysterious disappearance of divers

Another mysterious phenomenon is the sudden disappearance, without a trace, of mysterious divers .

In 2012, a diving instructor in Santa Rosa, California, claimed to have seen another person swimming in the water. The instructor also described the person wearing a pink tank. But when he got closer, the person wearing the pink tank disappeared without a trace. However, this is not the first time that US police have recorded such a brief, terrifying encounter.

A similar story of being teased by a water ghost also appeared in 2007 in the island of Grenada. After an afternoon of exploring the waters around the area, a diver told of an incident where he encountered a man in a white shirt, wearing a scuba tank, and even waved at him. It was only when his friends confirmed that there was no such person in the group that the man realized he had been teased by a water ghost.

Conclusion

The mysterious stories about the spiritual world, about souls living underwater, are still an unsolved mystery, although California paranormal researchers have spent a lot of time and effort researching. And whether those boats, those sunken cars are haunted or whether the people who drowned in the past are ghosts that caused a series of mysterious phenomena is still an open question for all of us.
