As you may know, Destination Fear is back on the Travel Channel and Discovery plus. They will visit jail, a sanatorium, a reformatory, and the Villisca Axe Murder House.
These eight episodes will scare the daylights out of you, and you will feel that your home or apartment, which wasn’t haunted at all before, is awakened, and things start to move on their own. Only to find out that your roommate had a fishing line and was pulling the book across the coffee table. So why did the vase across the room move and crash to the floor! Run! And you hear other footsteps, which wasn’t you or your roommate. Run!
Dakota Laden, Chelsea Laden, Tanner Wiseman, and Alex Schroder explore the most haunted places across America. You may have heard of it, but they will take you to experience what fear is like if you explore by yourself without any protection or being blessed. Seriously, you need to be blessed before you explore any abandoned and haunted places.
The paranormal team is experienced ghost hunters, and they have been doing this for many years. So let the paranormal team do their job. And let them scare us.
They have eight episodes starting from July 24 to September 11. The places they will go will be:
Waverly Hills Sanatorium is the most mysterious place in Louisville, Kentucky. It will give you nightmares; this place was a former tuberculosis hospital, a rest home, and many others. The hospital was overcrowded with dead bodies that caught TB, and the best way to dispose of the bodies is through a chute. Even children too. The paranormal team has seen a lot of evidence, and the spirits were taunting them. This is one to watch!
Missouri State Penitentiary is one of the bloodiest prisons in America. They had to wear masks because the stench was horrible. Chelsea could not hold it together because one of the prisoners was trying to communicate with her. The prisoner was a child kidnapper who used to kill children. Very intense and entirely to watch.
Fort Knox State Park, Maine. The team went to investigate an abandoned fort in Prospect, Maine. Not to be confused by Fort Knox, Kentucky, that’s where the state bullion depository. Anyway, this is a military base with a 420 feet tall wall, and visitors can enjoy the 360° views of the Penobscot River and bay and the countryside. The distant mountains of the west. Once nightfall, it is awakened with ghostly shadows recreating the war. The team investigated there, and to my surprise, they caught something. The battle is still going on once the sunrise sets.
Old Fellows Home. The best way to do a revenge scare on the team is to go through a real haunted house and scare them, which is not good. So they went to Old Fellows Home in Liberty, Missouri. This is a scary place to stay because the walls in the buildings, and I don’t know how they construct the building, are quite terrifying. The walls are entombed with real skeletons of dead constructor workers who built it. And a child too. That’s even creepier too. They will not get enough sleep if they spend the night.
Edinburgh Manor. The paranormal team is coming back to Edinburgh Manor in James County, Iowa. This is where residents slit their throats to escape the Manor. The residents could not escape the hell house that was brought upon. Now they have new evidence of what happened there. Spending the night in the place will give you nightmares. Better watch a comedy or read the bible, for you will not have nightmares.
Another place will be Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. Greene County Almshouse in Carrollton, Illinois. Villisca Axe Murder House, and Malvern Manor.
Get your scare on. Record the show on your DVR and watch it later during the daytime. Watch it during the day before you go to church.
