After the dream, Adam went on about his day as normal but then he went into his gallery or camera roll. There were a lot of black pictures from last night. He shared the photos and all of them are of David.

November 17, 2017

He just realized that there is a part of his apartment he didn't know about until now. He lives in a big long building which is a duplex. Well, when he was tweeting his last update he heard a thump above his head like someone dropped something. There's no way to get to the roof on the outside and the only access to it is the skylight which is hard to get to. He doesn't think it was the pipes either. It's an old building but this is a new sound. He then went into the hall to investigate. He then realized there is a hatch in the ceiling above the stairs. It's below the skylight so there is room in the ceiling for it to lead to something in between the roof and the hatch. For the next week and a half after the discovery he started hearing more noises. He's trying to explain it away by saying it could possibly be raccoons. He bought a pole off Amazon and if the hatch moves he'll buy a ladder to access it.

The noises haven't let up at all but he wasn't able to investigate because he didn't get the pole until after he got back from the holidays. When he had gotten to bed one night he heard a crash above him and he bolted upright. There was a weird energy in the room and he couldn't explain it. After a minute there was another crash. He almost grabbed his shoes and booked it but then he realized that would mean passing under the hatch which made less sense. So he stayed put then the crash happened again he counted at least 15 crashes in a row then he heard a creaky sound. He stayed still but there were no sounds after that. He had fallen asleep after the sounds stopped but when he was leaving the apartment he heard a crunch under his feet. On the stairs under the hatch was a pile of debris, it could have been dirt or plaster. He noticed something else, something was poking out of the hatch. He went back up to get the pole and set up his phone's camera to record in case something crazy happened. A kid's leather shoe fell out of the hatch. Adam contacted his landlord that there was something in that space; a few hours later the landlord was up investigating the space. The only thing that he found up there was a marble.

He's starting to feel dizzy but chalks it up to always having earbuds in. He had hoped finding the items in the hatch had ended it all. Wednesday he though someone was watching him and a weird feeling of "badness." He said this feeling usually accompanies David but he wasn't there, Adam was alone. He decided to put his phone on top of the bookcase in his room so that it can see everything and opened this app that takes a picture every sixty seconds. He left some night lights on so he could see if anything showed up. For the first 100 pictures nothing, but then there's David. In the first two pictures of David he was staring, then a few showed him collapsing and laying there lifeless. Then, after 15 photos of him missing, he was standing by Adams bed. Then he was on the bed starting at Adam then at the camera. In the last photo it appears David had tried to climb and get the camera because there was only part of his head in the frame.
