Come Mourning

You can hear the quarreling getting loud as the group in the car was lost on the lonely dark road. The little sedan of a car could only hold so many passengers of five with angry confused looks on their faces. They only had so much gas in the car on the deserted-looking road at night. They were going nowhere fast and it looked like a long night ahead with it only being 2:45 p.m. America screamed "Do you even know where you are going?" to Sean. Sean was ready to lose his cool and explode into a rage against America. He had to calm down and speak with gritted teeth to America. "Why don't you slow down and see why the GPS doesn't work or any of our electronics for goodness sake," said Sean to America. It was like they all were in a dead zone area where nothing worked even barely the car as the electrical in the car started to go in and out to turn off the car. Sam the other person in the car screamed out of desperation "we need to get to the cabin fast or we are going to freeze to death in this car!" Shivering and teeth chattering Tom let his opinion be heard in a loud matter, "Now how are we supposed to do that with the car turning off?" It was Brittany's turn now to talk out of frustrated annoyance, "Don't worry everyone we will get there eventually like next year." They all seem to be uptight and cynical about getting to their destination. While the group sat cold and grumpy in the car a great fog started to cover the area. It was only an hour later and nothing had changed as the car was at a standstill as if frozen in time.

The night noise coupled with the high-pitched screaming match in the car with the group seemed to like it would go on forever. Just then Sam thought she had heard something otherworldly scream louder than them from outside the car. Sam let out a shish sound to all the group in the car to be quiet. It was a hard time trying to quiet down the group but their noise expired after a few minutes of Sam's persistence. There it was again that strange noise coming out of the wilderness around them making noise so terrifying that it will make your skin crawl. Everyone in the car looked at each other and moved closer to each other not saying a word in a hush-hush silence. The noise outside the now completely broken down car got closer. Just then, a loud bang came against the car by an unseen force. They banged against the car and scared them to the point of almost peeing on themselves. The people in the car had nowhere to go and no one to call for help except themselves. So, someone had to go out there from the car but which one would act brave enough? All people in the car look desperately at each other in a slight plea for help. It was dead silence out there and now and in the car as if a foretelling for what was to come. Tom nodded toward the others in the car and motioned that he would attempt to find out what was out there beyond the car with the sound that was neither human nor animal sounds. Tom looked around the car for a weapon and found a small baseball bat that he could use if attacked. Opening to exit the car door that seem louder than life itself he left everyone to find the noise around the area. Tom ventured daringly into the fogged area only to disappear before the car passengers. The car passengers looked on in worry over Tom with weary eyes. Time passed that was like hours as Tom was not seen coming back to the car passengers. Finally, Tom came back to the car out of relief for the passengers. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary and the car started to revive back up to life as the morning light started to make its appearance. Sam, Britteny, America, and Sean all turned to Tom and asked Tom what took him so long out there checking out the area? Tom just quietly stared ahead and had a creepy look on his face. Tom sat amongst them and opened his mouth to begin to say something but nothing came out as his mouth bite into his flesh of Sean. Sean began to convulse and shake violently. The car as it was back to life moving on the road by Sam came to a sudden halt. Sam turned around to the passengers of the car and screamed what the heck is going on!" Just then Tom lunged at Sam from behind and torn into Sam's flesh with ferocity with Sam's blood flying everywhere. America and Britteny got frightened and started to bolt from the car but it was too late. The monsters that they thought were their friends will have them screaming to the deaths.
