BETHELIS ARRIVES

This is a story about a vampire. His past and place of origin were unknown. His arrival in Chicago coincided with the World's Fair of 1893, in Chicago. Through his supernatural abilities of persuasion and hypnosis he incorporated a most willing and eager sidekick, or rather a partner in crime. Bethelis quickly becomes acquainted with the infamous H.H. Holmes. Mr. Holmes would later be referred to as America's first serial killer. Mr. Holmes was already practicing his horrific crimes in the solitude of his hotel. The hotel where Mr. Holmes created maze like hallways and rooms that doubled as death traps for unsuspecting victims. Bethelis enjoyed the blackness of the top two floors as well as the tremendous amounts of blood still pulsing through the veins of the nearly dead female victims discarded by Mr. Holmes.

Following the discovery, and subsequent arrest of Mr. Holmes, and prior to his execution in Philadelphia,Bethelis disappeared without a trace for over 100 years.

2021 PHILADELPHIA, PA

Willie Joe MacInniny Jr. is the pride of his family. Just north of a decade on the job, Officer MacInniny passes the detective exam. Willie has worked for the Philadelphia Police Department with diligence and unrivaled dedication in upholding the law. By all who know him, they would describe him as humble and thoughtful. He doesn't demand respect, on the contrary, he works in an unforgiving section of the city where the example he puts forth by his empathy and helpful understanding of the residents in the neighborhood he patrols has earned him the respect of everyone, including the drug dealers huddled on the street corners. Officer MacInniny earned the respect of his fellow brothers in blue, through strict adherence to the law and his fair treatment of those accused of breaking it. The drug dealers, addicts and undesirables in the neighborhood have openly professed that Officer Willie is fair but firm. If he sees an individual in the process of breaking the law, he will arrest that person. However, with exception for those law breakers who choose to fight their imminent loss of freedom, physically resisting, that is, Officer Willie has used and will surely use again, the physical means to subdue an unruly perpetrator. That being the firm part. Now, the fairness that he exemplifies, as well as the compassion for the folks who seem stuck in the drug addicted and drug peddling game, gives him an edge, an advantage over the older, fatter, patrol car driving, miserable, middle-aged officers who's first thought when probable cause is necessary in an encounter is busting heads with their nightsticks before a question is asked. Officer Willie shows restraint in the use of force and listens to the residents as well as the perpetrators of crime. He has compassion, sympathy, empathy and an understanding of the struggle that ensnares and dictates the daily lives and routines of every single human being that walks these dangerous streets.

Detective William J. Mac Inniny Jr.

Detective MacInniny transplanted north to Philly to escape the slow-death of boredom patrolling the streets of his hometown of Valdosta, Georgia. He is the pride of his Southern Baptist, God fearing, commandment keeping, family of holy-rollers. The MacInniny clan have deep roots in law enforcement. Willie's father was a sheriff, and his two younger brothers are deputies as well. Willie is a 4th generation police officer.

The now new detective was in his captain's office to get his new assignment on the force. To Willie's great pleasure, he is being assigned for duty in the homicide division of the northeast detectives. Humble as he has always been, Detective MacInniny let out a resounding, "YAAAHOOO!!!." This assignment, in this section of the city, kept him practically smack dab within the same neighborhood where he had been a patrol officer for the past 3 years. The homicide division of the northeast detectives covered a large area, and that area just happened to include the residents and the snitches he had built alliances with during his time with them.

Willie would be partnered with Detective Jimmy Bonner, an eight year veteran in the homicide unit. Jimmy was close in age with Willie, a fact that seemed to bring them as close together as brothers. The first 6 months of the year had seen a 34% increase in the homicide rate from the previous year. Gun crimes were skyrocketing as well with death related shootings happening on a daily basis. On a given night it wasn't out of the question to see 2 or 3 shooting deaths occur within the city. Most of these crimes had gone unsolved, with no arrests made. It was around the middle of July when the homicide squad that both Willie and Jimmy were on saw a drastic increase of gruesome, non-shooting related deaths. The bloody, horribly brutal scenes of bodies of mostly young women, dismembered in various ways was enough to shake Detective Willie to his core and caused him to question the god he believed in and had relied on for so long.

So grab a drink, light up a smoke and take a seat. The horror show, that is Bethelis, begins now...!

MEET BETHELIS

"Look into my eyes.", Bethelis stated, commanding his prey, in his low, baritone sultry voice. He gazes at her, but not because he wants romance. Again, Bethelis rolls out his voice with hypnotic effect. The young lady stands there, paralyzed by Bethelis's gaze. She doesn't notice those eyes into which her full attention is held, are as black as the nightmare that she is going to experience tonight.

Bethelis is evil. Pure to the core. He was created with no feelings of compassion, empathy, love or mercy. His appetite for inflicting and causing severe pain and loss is only equaled by his insatiable thirst for ultimate power and domination over his doomed victims. His need and hunger for blood is his number one mission. The blood of human prey is the key to keeping his otherworldly powers strong and intact. As well as keeping his dead demonic body moving about and vibrant.

Bethelis hasn't any need for,nor any interest in the possessions, bank accounts or families of humans. Things that mere mortals concern themselves with and gage their pitiful existence on. Giving those human creatures who will die, some kind of hope that their lives had meaning in this world. Bethelis only laughs at the thoughts of humans.

Bethelis is not human. He is not from this world. He has come up from the darkest, coldest, most isolated and loneliest depths of Hell. Where he has been summoned from, even the evilest of demons dare not tread. Bethelis rules his piece of hell. He comes alone, in his domain there are not any above or below him. He destroys all entities that cross through his place of eternal pain and torture. Satan developed an unstoppable, evil and deadly force to unleash on the human race. Bethelis has been called out of a million nightmares, by Satan, to kill, steal and destroy for an allotted time. Now his time has come to commit horrific acts of violence upon unsuspecting humans. His sole purpose is to administer pain and loathing to all individuals he encounters. Pain and death. Bethelis cannot feel love, nor does he require it. He is sadistic and sinister on the surface. Down deep inside, not even worms from hell can bear the taste of his eternal decay.
