A terrible night

Elisa who never believed in ghosts

You will scream

Elisa had always been afraid of spirits, ever since she was a little girl. Her parents used to tell her stories of ghosts and demons that haunted the forests around their village, and Elisa would always be terrified. She would cover her head with the blankets and stay up all night, too scared to close her eyes.

As she grew older, Elisa learned to rationalize her fear. She told herself that ghosts weren't real, that they were just stories people made up to scare each other. And for a while, that worked. She was able to sleep peacefully at night and live her life without constantly looking over her shoulder.

But one night, everything changed. Elisa was asleep in her bed when she was suddenly jolted awake by a loud noise. She sat up in bed, her heart pounding in her chest, and looked around the room. It was dark, but she could make out a figure standing at the foot of her bed.

Elisa's first thought was that it was just a dream. But as she rubbed her eyes and looked again, she realized that it was real. There was a spirit in her room, and it was staring right at her.

She tried to scream, but her throat was too tight with fear. She tried to move, but her body wouldn't obey her commands. She was completely paralyzed, trapped in her own bed with the spirit looming over her.

The spirit was unlike anything Elisa had ever seen before. It was tall and thin, with skin as white as snow and eyes as black as coal. Its hair was long and tangled, and it seemed to be floating in mid-air. Elisa could feel its gaze boring into her, and she knew that she was in grave danger.

For what felt like an eternity, Elisa lay there, staring at the spirit and waiting for it to do something. But it just stood there, silent and motionless. Finally, she summoned up the courage to speak.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice shaking.

The spirit didn't answer. It just continued to stare at her, its eyes unblinking.

"What do you want?" Elisa asked again, her heart racing.

Still, the spirit didn't reply. It just stood there, like a statue carved out of ice.

Elisa was terrified, but she knew that she had to do something. She couldn't just lie there and wait for the spirit to make its move. So she slowly reached for the lamp on her bedside table, hoping to use it as a weapon.

But as soon as her fingers touched the lamp, the spirit moved. It darted forward with lightning speed, grabbing Elisa by the throat and squeezing tightly.

Elisa struggled to breathe as the spirit's grip tightened. She felt herself slipping away, fading into the darkness. And then, just as suddenly as it had attacked, the spirit vanished into thin air.

Elisa lay there, gasping for air and trying to make sense of what had just happened. Had it all been a dream? Or had she really been attacked by a spirit?

In the days that followed, Elisa was haunted by the memory of that night. She couldn't shake the feeling that the spirit was still watching her, waiting to strike again. She tried to tell her parents and friends what had happened, but no one believed her. They all said that it was just her imagination, that she had been dreaming.

But Elisa knew the truth. She knew that there was something out there, something dark and malevolent, that was determined to harm her. She couldn't sleep at night, couldn't eat, couldn't focus on anything except the spirit that had attacked her.

Finally, she decided that she needed to do something. She couldn't live in fear forever.
