A Story So Strange You Won't Believe It
A Night in the Haunted Mansion: "A Tale of Terror"

It was a mysterious evening when Zaid turned his car toward a desolate area. He had gone there on a dare with his friend Hasan, to a place where people claimed strange noises could be heard at night. Zaid didn’t believe in such things, but when he arrived, he witnessed things that would make anyone question reality…
Part 1: The Mysterious Place
Zaid and his friend Hasan were both young and adventurous, always seeking thrills. One day, Hasan told Zaid about an old graveyard outside the city where lights were said to appear at night. Some claimed it was haunted by jinn, while others believed it was home to the restless spirits of a family that once lived there.
Zaid scoffed, "That’s all nonsense! I’ll go there myself."
Hesitantly, Hasan agreed to accompany him. As evening fell, the two set off in Zaid’s car. Along the way, Hasan kept saying, "Let’s turn back, man. This is all fake." But Zaid was determined.
Part 2: The Eerie Sounds
When they reached the spot, an eerie silence hung in the air. The wind whistled through the trees, creating strange, whispering noises. Zaid parked the car, grabbed a flashlight, and stepped out. Hasan followed reluctantly.
Suddenly, they heard a woman crying in the distance.
"Huuu… huuu… huuu…"
Hasan’s face turned pale. "Zaid, let’s get out of here!"
But Zaid moved forward. The crying grew louder, then abruptly stopped. The two exchanged nervous glances.
"Maybe it was just our imagination," Zaid muttered.
Then another voice came—this time, whispering his name.
"Zaid… Zaid…"
It sounded as if someone was breathing right behind him. Zaid spun around, but there was no one there.
Part 3: The Haunted Mansion
The flashlight beam revealed an old mansion ahead, its door slightly ajar—as if inviting them inside. Zaid stepped forward, but Hasan grabbed his arm.
"Don’t go in! This could be dangerous!"
Ignoring him, Zaid entered. Inside, they saw an old woman sitting on a cot. Her eyes were milky white, as if she were blind.
"Why have you come here?" she rasped.
Zaid’s heart pounded. "We… we heard voices."
The old woman smiled. "You shouldn’t have come. Now you can’t leave."
The door slammed shut behind them. Hasan screamed, "Zaid, she’s not human!"
Part 4: The Horrifying Truth
The old woman’s face began to twist. Her skin darkened, and her eyes turned blood-red. Zaid and Hasan tried to retreat, but the door wouldn’t budge.
"You will die here," she screeched.
Hasan grabbed a wooden stick and swung at her, but she only laughed. "You can’t kill me!"
Then Zaid remembered his grandmother’s advice: "If you ever face a jinn, recite Ayat-ul-Kursi." He immediately began reciting the verse.
The old woman shrieked and recoiled. "No! Stop it!"
Zaid kept reciting. Suddenly, the walls trembled, and a blinding light flashed. When it faded, they were standing back on the road. The mansion had vanished.
Part 5: Was It All a Dream?
When they got home, they told their families everything, but no one believed them. They thought it was just a nightmare or their minds playing tricks.
But the next morning, Zaid found strange claw marks on his arm…
The End
Did Zaid and Hasan really encounter supernatural beings? Or was it all in their heads? Who knows… but after that night, Zaid never ventured into abandoned places again.
