A Simple Unfortunate Accident
BINGO Halloween Challenge; A Spooky Micro
Mother used to say that there was no use crying over spilled milk. If the cat knocked a glass onto the floor or if we knocked over a cheap vase while playing, everything would be alright. Things were simple as a kid. When things broke, they were either fixed or replaced. They would hear our screaming and bawling and tell us it was alright, that it wasn't the end of the world.
That life seems so far away now, oh so many millions of miles away from home in the inter-planetary void. When things break out here, they send professional space-walkers like me. But who will fix my suit's tether now that it's broken?
Who will hear my screams oh so many millions of miles from home?

Nice contrast; it really highlights the twist at the end!
I can’t think of a worse scenario being a space walker. Terrifying!
