A Hunted Cottage

James, a delivery driver for a grocery store, shares a life with his wife, Andrea, who has aspirations to become a successful horror author. While she conducts extensive research on the supernatural realm, James remains skeptical and scared of anything paranormal. Despite James' disbelief, Andrea predicts that he will eventually come to understand the existence of supernatural beings.

James' skepticism begins to crumble when he discovers that his boss, the Supermarket owner Mr. Anderson's wife, is pregnant and seemingly possessed by a malevolent spirit. As the drama unfolds, Andrea also becomes pregnant, adding to the already heightened sense of fear and uncertainty in James' life.

On a fateful day, James went out to make a grocery delivery to a customer. When he returned to the supermarket, he was in a state of shock, covered in blood and muttering Andrea's name in distress. His boss, Mr. Anderson, was concerned and questioned him about what had happened. James revealed that he had been delivering groceries to a customer named Alice who lived in a cottage. Alice asked James to wait downstairs while she went upstairs to get change. Suddenly, the power went out, leaving James in a state of alarm.

James sets out to deliver groceries to a customer named Alice, who lives in a cottage. While he waits for her to retrieve change, a power failure occurs, leaving James in complete darkness. Suddenly, he hears a loud and unfamiliar noise coming from upstairs. Bravely, James decides to investigate and is met with a gruesome scene - Alice has been murdered. He notices that one of the groceries he had delivered is missing, leading him to suspect that someone else may still be in the cottage. In an effort to escape, James realizes that the door has been locked from the outside.

Using his cell phone, he calls the murdered woman's husband, Mr. Miller, who initially believes his wife was having an affair. James communicates the situation to Mr. Miller, who instructs him on how to escape. Suddenly, Mr. Miller vanishes from the front entrance and is later found dead in the same room as his wife. James is now faced with a disturbing reality - not only has the murderer taken two of the groceries, but they seem to be locked in the cottage with the murderer.

James finds himself in a dilemma when he encounters a child named "Ema" at the cottage he is staying at, who shares her name with the supposed ghost that has been haunting the place. Determined to escape, James tries everything in his power, from attempting to break down the locked doors to using the phone, surprisingly, the phone works despite the dead line. He successfully reaches out to his girlfriend, Andrea, who alerts the local police.

As James eagerly waits for his rescue, the doorbell rings, and he is overjoyed to find Andrea on the other side. However, his joy is short-lived as he spots the ghost couple lurking behind her. He urges Andrea to move, but it is too late as he is attacked by the ghosts.

When the police arrive, James assumes that Andrea had called them for help. But to his shock, the officers reveal that four people have been killed at the cottage - Alice, Mr. Miller, their daughter Ema, and a girl named Andrea, implying that James's girlfriend was, in fact, the ghost.

The authorities reveal that James is a person of interest in the murder investigation and attempt to take him into custody. James, bewildered and weepy, refuses to accept the accusations and tries to flee from the officers to look for Andrea. However, while trying to evade the police, James sees them being pulled into the cottage and murdered. In shock, James rushes back to the supermarket in a state of distress. Despite his doubts about Andrea's death, his friends at the supermarket and Mr. Anderson begin to realize that they never actually saw Andrea, and there's no evidence of her living with James at his home.

Further investigation uncovers the dark history of the haunted cottage, which had been the site of numerous untimely deaths, including a married couple, their daughter, and two police officers. James, who is still searching for Andrea and grappling with his own health issues, seems to be plagued by ghostly apparitions and supernatural forces. During a delivery, James takes a moment to call Andrea and the truth about what transpired is finally revealed. The Income Tax Department had planned a raid on Mr. Anderson's cottage, the owner of a local supermarket, who had hidden diamonds worth 20 million inside a box of candies. He entrusted James with the delivery, but when James made a stop at the cottage to deliver groceries, the homeowner's wife stumbled upon the hidden treasure while taking a few candies from the box. James and Andrea then hatch a plan to steal the diamonds, hoping that the wealth will secure their future and support their baby.

James and Andrea come up with a cunning plan in which James "accidentally" leaves the grocery bag at a mysterious cottage, much to the fear of Mr. Anderson, who believes the place to be haunted. Meanwhile, Andrea makes preparations to leave the city and start a new life abroad. James tells her that before departing, he wants to make one final grocery delivery, and soon receives a phone call. He sets out to deliver the groceries to the cottage and experiences a series of strange and eerie events, similar to the story he had previously recounted out. Inside, he meets a young girl who is a mirror image of the "Ema" he had mentioned in his tale. James finds himself locked inside the cottage with the curious "Ema" looking on as the lights flicker and a gunshot echoes through the air.
