FOUR SPOOKIEST PLACES YOU MUST NEVER VISIT.

Hello everybody. I've been meaning to write about this for a while now because it's a subject that really interests me. I've always been fascinated by haunted places because they're just so creepy. I used to actually look up all the local haunted spots near me and then try there to take a look. I wouldn't go inside because I'm interested in that, but I'm also not suicidal. However, there was a time in my life when I actually lived in a Haunted house, but I will talk about it at the end of this article. Naturally, before we get started, I want to warn you not to read this by yourself, during a thunderstorm, at night, in a cemetery, in a creepy old house, or really anywhere that is dark and eerie. If you choose to disregard the warning, check your closet and under the bed before we get started. Here are four of the spookiest places on earth, in my opinion. I'm going to move from spooky to the scariest places, places that will make you scream for your mother. You best be wearing a diaper if you visit any of these locations, and even that may not be enough to contain all the garbage that will be scared out of you.

NUMBER FOUR: CENTRALIA PENNSYLVANIA

I really don't like the idea of going someplace and being hunted by a bunch of creepy monsters and never being able to find my way out, so what makes Centralia Pennsylvania such a creepy place is, it is basically Silent Hill in real life, in the middle of nowhere. I love horror movies, I can admit it; they scare me, and I can't help watching them. One of the scariest movies I've ever seen was Silent Hill; that movie totally freaked me out. Centralia Pennsylvania, was once a sizable coal mining community, but in 1962 the coal beneath the community caught fire, and in the 1980s and 1990s nearly all of the homes, businesses, and structures were demolished, because the town is literarily on a fire pit. Despite the fact that there were no fatalities directly related to the mine fire, many people believe that paranormal forces are at work because they have heard voices warning them to leave town and have seen apparitions disappearing into the smoke. Some even go far as to say that Centralia Pennsylvania is the entrance to hell. Despite the fact that this location is not a recognized tourist destination, you can go and explore the town if you really want to.

NUMBER THREE: THE LALAURIE HOUSE

While on a ghost tour in New Orleans some years back, I learned about the legend of the LaLaurie house, which gave me nightmares. I have to admit that the town is creepy without the above-ground grays voodoo shops, all the haunted houses, and you know I think New Orleans is the only place in the world where a ghost can actually make a house more expensive. Apparently, in 1832, Dr. Lewis LaLaurie and his wife Delphine moved into their mansion in the French Quarter, and soon became well known for their Social affairs and great wealth.

Delphine was regarded as one of the most intelligent and attractive women in the city. Of course, given that it was the early 1800s, dozens of slaves were employed to care for the LaLaurie household. Neighbors first started to suspect something was amiss when they noticed that slaves appeared to come and go quite frequently, maids would be replaced with no explanation, and other servants would just disappear without a trace. Then, one day, a neighbor was climbing her own stairs, when she heard a scream, only to realise that it was Delphine chasing her personal servant who was a little girl with a whip, she pursued the girl onto the roof of the house and then the little girl just jumped to her death, so basically this girl would rather die than be caught by this woman.

Everything was revealed in April of 1834 when a fire broke out in the kitchen, according to legend the fire was started by the cook who could no longer endure the Madame's torture after the blaze was put out by the firefighters. They encountered a horrifying scene behind a hidden, locked door in the attic where they discovered over a dozen slaves tied to the wall in appalling conditions. There were both male and female slaves there, and some were restrained in cages designed for dogs. According to the local newspaper, all of the victims were naked, with the exception of some ladies who had their tummies cut open and their insides wrapped in their own waste, Human body parts were also arranged in buckets, some of the men had their fingernails ripped off in their eyes poked out when the town people realized what was happening, They gathered outside the house ready to hang the entire Laurie family when suddenly a carriage sped out of the gates and practically disappeared. The Laurie family most likely traveled back to Europe to seek refuge in their cousin Dracula's castle. Right after the family escaped, Many people claim to have heard screams of agony coming from the empty house, and saw ghost of slaves walking around. Some stories even claimed that even drifters that went into the house seeking shelter were never heard from again. What's crazy is that the house has been renovated and restored and now serves as luxury apartments. What other city do you know of that can transform a haunted building where dozens were brutally murdered by the evil versions of the Adams family into luxury apartments? I mean seriously luxury apartments you can't pay me to live in such a place, I would pick the worst part of town to live in, I think my survival rate will be better.

NUMBER TWO: THE ISLAND OF DOLLS

The island of dolls is situated in the canals south of Mexico City, and this location is covered in dolls rather than Barbies, where Cabbage Patch Kids are. This location combines three horrifying factors: small children, a spooky island, and dolls. We're referring to dolls that are mostly mutilated and have extremely unsettling eyes that seem to be following you around, and this is in broad daylight, now Imagine getting up in the middle of the night and you hear a voice, and venture outdoors, and discover this! So Approximately 50 years ago, Don Julian Santana, the sole resident of this island, discovered the drowned body of a young girl in the canal. He was haunted by her death and soon after, he saw a doll floating by in the canal. Hoping to appease the girl, and protect the island from further evil, he hung the doll in a tree. As we continue to peel back the layers of this super creepy story, it just keeps getting more and more horrifying, If that were me, I'd be on the next boat out of that creepy island right away, but this random guy decides the best course of action is to take a creepy little doll he finds floating in the waters and hang it on a tree in the hopes that it will somehow make the little girl's ghost happy and ward off evil. Tell me how a creepy doll hanging on a tree works?

Okay, so he hung a doll on a tree, but that wasn't enough for this guy. He continued to fish out dolls and doll parts out of the canal whenever he saw them and hang each one of them on the island. But this guy went completely insane; he then started searching trash piles on his infrequent trips away from home and even traded his homegrown food and vegetables for a doll. When Don Julian did all of this, he had the opportunity to meet a lovely woman and live happily ever after on the island then maybe One day he realise that the young girl's spirit was content and could now rest in peace, but that was impossible because what he had done was extremely creepy, and young girls' ghosts are only content when you die and go play with them forever, like those unsettling twins from the Shining, a true horror movie produced in 2001, so get this Don Julian supposedly committed suicide, in that same canal just like the little girl. Even though Don Julian's family members now run the island as a tourist destination, many people have claimed—and I agree—that the dolls were to blame and that they were possessed by tortured spirits and killed a man. Unfortunately, the creep factor has not subsided since Don Julian's passing. I believe it would be a good idea to end a relationship if your partner ever says to you, "Hey honey, I think for vacation this year we should go to a super creepy ghost infested island filled with creepy dolls and just walk around." LOL.

FINALLY

NUMBER ONE: AOKIGAHARA FOREST.

The Aokigah is located at the foot of Japan's iconic Mount Fuji, sprawled among some of the most majestic scenery. It s my opinion that this location is the creepiest place on earth, and of course it has to be in Japan, the country where the spookiest movies were made. It is also the only place in the world where, once upon a time, they thought that tearing your own guts out was the most honor. This forest is arguably one of the darkest places on earth, it is often referred to as the sea of trees, and infamously known as the suicide forest, You know how in movies when people are walking around in a creepy place then someone stops and says hey you hear that and someone else would say I don't hear anything, then the first person would say exactly, yeah! that's exactly what it's like in this forest you can't hear birds tripping you can hear animals running around only deafening silence it's almost eerie? Well, that's exactly how it is in this forest. The trees here are also so dense that it is not difficult to locate areas entirely encircled by darkness even at midday, which is a concern because the tree cover not only gives the area a spooky appearance but also makes it quite simple for you to become lost.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that compasses don't really work here. Many hikers have claimed that it's very simple to get lost in this forest, and it's not unusual to hear tales of hikers simply going around in circles. I have no idea why anyone would come here just to go for a hike, The only thing we have so far is a silent, dark forest where animals don't dare to live and where compasses don't work, which should be more than enough to make most people want to stay away from this location, but that's just the icing on this nightmare-inducing Japanese horror cake.

Aokigahara is known as the "suicide forest" because, since the 1950s, more than 500 people have committed suicide there, and the number is only increasing. In 2003 alone, there were 105 verified suicides. The situation is so dire that local authorities have posted suicide prevention signs at the entrance to the forest, some of which read, "Your life is something precious that was given to you by your parents think about your parents siblings and children once more. Do not be troubled alone." All of that should have definitely cemented this place as the designated suicide prevention site. However, according to police records, only 54 of the 247 suicide attempts in the forest in 2010 were successful, all this should have definitely solidified this place as the creepiest place on earth, but lets add one more piece of information, because this forest is so large and difficult to navigate officials believe there are many bodies in these woods that are still unfound so you could literally wonder around and run into someone hanging from a tree.

I was thinking about the ring and the grudge, two very spooky movies, and I think I came up with a solution maybe we give creepy children ghosts too much credit I mean yeah they're scary-looking and all, but can dey really fight, so let's say we see the little girl crawling out of the TV, or little chucky doll coming at you with a knife, Instead of freaking out and running away, why not walk up to them and give them a nice little but strong kick, let's start fighting back.

As I said at the beginning of this article, that I once stayed in a place that was haunted, I resided in two of the three haunted dormitories at Truman State University in Missouri, one of which required an exorcism to be performed inside one of the dormitory rooms. I recall one instance when I was on rounds as a RA at 2:00 a.m., walking down the hall when I heard footsteps above me, which is practically impossible because each floor has carbonate, but I was able to hear the footsteps clearly and they were heavy footsteps. Before you say anything, let me assure you that this was not an echo of my own footsteps. Instead, I heard footsteps above me that matched every step I took. As a result, each time I took a step, I heard someone above me take a step. When I started getting a little alarmed because it was already two in the morning, I sped up my walking and the footsteps began to follow me more closely. Then, I just ran down the hallway as the footsteps above me did the same, I just ran into the dorm lobby and stayed there because, at that point, if you went into a room alone you were going to die because, as I said, every floor was carpeted. The footsteps above me were also extremely loud, sounding like a monster like Bigfoot was walking above me.
