Sri Parameshwara Swamy temple is located in a remote town named Bhainsa, in the district of Adilabad, in the state of Telangana, in South India. It is a few kilometer away from the national highway towards Hyderabad. The chief deity of this particular shrine is Lord Sri Parameshwara Swamy. This Lord is a form of Lord Shiva who is affectionately worshipped with lot of devotion and commitment. It is one of the most frequent and sought after temple in Bhainsa. This temple witnesses a good crowd of pilgrims and adherent devotees on Fridays, public holidays and weekends. The shrine is also thronged by local people on all days for the morning and evening hours daily poojas.

At this shrine, various types of Shiva poojas and other rituals are conducted on auspicious days and festive days in a grand manner. Architectural Significance

Sri Parameshwara Swamy temple is constructed as per the South Indian Hindu temple architectural style and pattern. The main sanctum is much bigger than the sub-temples within the temple premises. There are certain aspects of local and regional architectural features blended in the main building structure. The Vimana or central tower of this shrine is in moderate height when compared with other temples of this particular town. The sub-temples are in equivalent distance from the main sanctum. The pillars in the prayer hall are beautifully carved with religious images and objects. The paths for walking are properly fixed within the temple complex to a great extent.

Shivarathri is the main festival of Sri Parameshwara Swamy temple. Most of the major and minor festivals and auspicious days related to Lord Shiva are celebrated in a religious manner. This temple authority’s provides daily offering to the adherent devotees and pilgrims visiting to this shrine. At this shrine, various types of poojas, homams, yagnas and other activities and functions related to Lord Shiva is performed in a spiritual manner. The temple is over crowded with pilgrims, adherent devotees and local people on all auspicious days and festive days. The temple is brightly illuminated with light arrangement and attractively decorated with different types of colorful flowers. The queue system is strictly followed in this temple. There is no VIP or special entry allowed in this shrine. At this shrine, Hindu rules and regulations are followed in a very strict manner without any type of deviation in any given situations and circumstances. According to the recent survey conducted at the temple premises, it has been observed that word of mouth publicity related to the miracle happenings after praying to this Lord is making its round in the villages and cities in its surrounding. This temple has been listed among the must visit Hindu temple in the district of Adilabad in Northern Telangana.
