2. HOW TO NPC HUNT
1. Understanding NPC Behavior
- NPCs can spawn randomly or through specific triggers.
- Some NPCs are passive, while others may chase or interact with players.
- Certain NPCs appear only at night or under specific weather conditions.
2. Using the Console
- Open the console (F9 on PC, /console on mobile) to check for NPC-related warnings or errors.
- High warning counts (e.g., 100+ warnings) may indicate an NPC is nearby.
3. Morph Selection
- Some NPCs react differently to certain morphs.
- For example, Bee may become passive if you use a morph with orange markings.
4. Summoning NPCs
- Some NPCs require summoning rituals, which may involve chants, specific locations, or repeated actions.
- Check the NPC hunting guide for detailed summoning methods.
5. Staying Safe
- f an NPC is aggressive, avoid direct interaction.
- Some NPCs may "haunt" players, following them across servers.
3. HOW TO AVOID THEM IN PRIVATE SERVERS
1. Use Private Server Commands
- Change the weather: Some NPCs appear more frequently in storms or fog. Use :weather calm to reduce their chances of spawning.
- Adjust time settings: Many NPCs are more active at night. Use :time [number] to keep it daytime.
- Teleport away: If an NPC appears, use :tp [player1] [player2] to quickly escape.
2. Avoid Known Spawn Locations
- Some NPCs have specific spawn points, such as Bird Mimicker in WindClan or Blood the Headless Doberman near the Barn.
- Stay away from high-warning areas (check the console with F9).
3. Limit Player Actions
- Some NPCs are triggered by chanting or specific movements. Avoid performing known summoning rituals.
- If playing with friends, ensure no one is actively trying to summon NPCs.
4. Monitor Console Warnings
- Open the console (F9 on PC, /console on mobile) to check for NPC-related warnings.
- If warnings exceed 100+, an NPC may be nearby—consider leaving the area.
5. Use Safe Morphs
- Some NPCs react differently to certain morphs. For example, Bee may become passive if you use a morph with orange markings.
4. HOW TO AVOID THEM IN PUBLIC/NORMAL SERVERS
1. Use Server Hopping
- If you notice NPC activity, leave and rejoin a different public server to reset encounters.
- NPCs don’t always spawn in every server, so switching can help avoid them.
2. Play During Low Activity Hours
- Some NPCs are more active when fewer players are online. Playing during peak hours (evenings, weekends) can help avoid encounters.
3. Observe Player Reactions
- If others in the server start mentioning strange sightings or sounds, NPCs may be nearby. Leaving the area before they fully appear is a good strategy.
4. Be Mindful of Map Updates
- After major updates, some NPC spawn behaviors may change. Checking update logs can reveal new safe zones.
5. Avoid Interacting with Glitches
- Sometimes, environmental glitches (like floating objects or strange shadows) hint at nearby NPCs.
- Avoid investigating these anomalies, as some players report NPCs appearing soon after.
5. THE NPC'S THAT CAN BAN YOU
