Sims 4: Goth, Goth, Goth!
The best thing about the month of October is sims 4 goth/alt cc.

Twas the season for gothic cc.
Don't ask me why everyone decides to make gothic/alt cc only in October, but they do. There are some cc creators who don't do follow the tradition and create to their hearts content though, they are our favorites, as expected. In case it's been a while for you:
Madlen
An all goth set full of staples. We've always seen something like this in media and real life, but did we have it in the sims? Something close, but no. This can be your new go to in CAS!
A simple and elegant 3 piece goth set. The outfit on the left looks like a full body suit, but it's actually a top and pants.
Next up is the Pearl series. We have the pearl dream, a very feminine and romantic pearl necklace choker set I'd imagine to see rocked by royalty or magical girls.
It has a black swatch so it can be used to make sweet goths. Next up, we have the opposite of dream: Pearl Nightmare.
Pearl Nightmare is a gorgeous set. Personally I wish it had different pendants. But I know it could make some decent looks.
Next up are some shoes I overlooked, cause I'm not into spikez.
I said it before but Madlen creates versatile clothes with different color swatches, so you can still create gothic looks with any of their outfits.
Everyone knows that statement shoes seal the deal on a gothic look. This set is like a dark trinity of gothic shoes, staple to any sim that can afford it.
I could have sworn I shared this before, but apparently I haven't. The Dark Delight set is a set of two stylish priestly dresses, with some unholy(?) relic pendant, earrings, and tattoos. Kinda contradicting to what I said earlier, the outfit is gothic but it looks holy because of the modesty element. I love modest but simple, stylish/elegant looks which is why this outfit set is so, so, so lovely to me.

Let's start with their cc for simblreen and rewind.
A perfect set, not just for goths but alternative folk as well.
It's colorful, I know some folks typically associate all black outfits as gothic, but tis not so.
Has a lot of different swatches, with lots of potential to be alternative or traditional gothic.
Tights with lots of potential to pull off lolita or gothic looks.
I like to think of this as "Build-a-goth" set due to the tops, and gloves. Goths assemble looks from pieces of clothing, DIYing their looks. So as long as you have the right gloves, armlets or accessories, you can easily make anything look gothic. I downloaded this set for the gloves, and top, I didn't really care for the pants and skirt even though you can make alt(alternative) looks with them. I'm not into the shiny leather alt looks.
Previous year of simblreen. I downloaded this for the necklace, not because I don't like the top or skirt, I just knew I'd probably never use either. . . but now that I look back at this the skirt is kinda tempting me, it would co nicely with some thigh high socks or garterbelt stockings or something wouldn't it?

There are different types of goth, I know the edgy leather jacket alt-goth looks are popular but I am not a fan of this type. I'm into vintage or scrapbook goth looks (I invented this word just now, dunno if that's what it's called it's what I was talking about earlier: Goths collecting clothes and repurposing them into a look that makes a statement) I think the only thing I like from this set is the jacket on the far right, the pants, (But if I were to make a sim, I wouldn't pair the two together... and if I did, I'd be experimenting) and the top on the second left. Not saying this set is ugly, I've seen real goths rock such attire before, and it flatters them. It's just not my preferred cup of goth for my sims.
I'm not going to share the link for this next set, since it only has one dress that gets a pass. It's the spiderweb dress called "Black Widow" from Derailed by Danger Set. It has some nice dresses, my personal favorite being the "Orient Express dress."

And finally.
Arethabee
It's fashion that reminds you of all the witchy/occult tv shows you've seen like Charmed, Sabrina, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

For the vintage goth girlys. I wish males would get some love. I always make the most gorgeous female sims but feel like the males I create can never match. I really want to recreate Lysander from the mycandylove online visual novel otome. I loved his looks.
CloudCat
A sweet, soft and feminine top underneath an edgy leather jacket? Yep. It passes.
It's...vintage? What's the name for this style? Folks just refer to it by the time period right? It's more alternative passing than it is gothic, but I think this can still be used for something.
It's giving casual loli, preppy, or coquette. But I think some sweet goth looks could be created from this set. Also this set comes with cross necklaces with obsidian, so Christian and Gothic girlies can definitely make the most out of this.

Check out their EMPOWER collection. And their Pijama Set! It has a cute ghost pajama swatch!
