Sims 4 cheats (money, skills, ect)

THIS IS MY FIRST STORY/ARTICLE SO PLEASE BE MINDFUL! ALSO IGNORE ANY SPELLING MISTAKES

Why are there cheats in the game? Great question, the cheats are in the game to help sim builders and workers of the sims 4 to have better access for creating EA houses and the world around. Why would I use cheats in my game? Well good question I’m glad you asked (unless you didn’t) . Using money cheats in your game can help you build you dream sims house, or let you buy that cut cat that will probably run away in 3 sim days, or build a massive torture house for your sims. 😈 The choice is yours do whatever your heart.

Once in game you need to be on a lot (it can be any lot just not the loading screen)

Hold Ctrl and Shift, then press c (for pc) Hold Command and Shift, then press c (for Mac )

A long white rectangle will appear in the top right corner where you can now input cheat codes. Click on the rectangle and type testingcheats true (exactly like that) then press enter this enables for cheats to be used in the game.

After typing testingcheats true type the following cheats to your liking (you can use the following cheats as many time as you like).

rosebud - receive 1,000 simoleons

kaching - receive 1,000 simoleons

motherlode - receive 50,000 simoleons

Money X - replace X with a number to set an exact amount of simoleons for your household. This can also be used for taking away simoleons.

Here are some more common cheats that are related to money.

FreeRealEstate On - make all neighbourhood lots free

FreeRealEstate Off - return original prices

Now for skill cheats:

you will need to type into the white rectangle this exactly stats.set_skill_level [Skill Name] X - then you will need to replace X with 1-10 (10 = max) to set your Sim's skill level, and swap [Skill Name] for any of the following skills:

Major_Bartending

Major_Charisma

Major_Comedy

Major_Fishing

Skill_Fitness

Major_Gardening

Major_GourmetCooking

Major_Guitar

Major_Handiness

Major_HomestyleCooking

Major_Logic

Major_Mischief

Major_Painting

Major_Photography

Major_Piano

Major_Programming

Major_RocketScience

Major_VideoGaming

Major_Violin

Major_Writing

(There will be new skills added throughout the game so if you do not see the skill you need here just replace the skill name with a skill of your choosing eg. instead of Major_fitness put Major_clockmaking)

Build and item cheats:

Again pressing the white rectangle in the left corner and typing it in exactly how it’s written.

bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement - This unlocks special career items in building mode.

bb.showhiddenobjects - this shows hidden items in build/buy catalog that you usually wouldn't have access to.

bb.enablefreebuild - this allows you to build items anywhere you like.

bb.moveobjects on - this allows you to place objects anywhere you want, including locations the grid won't allow. All you have to do is hold down shift on your keyboard and freely move your object whilst not being restrained to the grid.

Quick tips:

Some of the fastest ways to make money in the sims is to do painting dig up rocks and gems, harvest plants and stealing from the rich Sims a.k.a. the Landgrabs!

Another very useful tip I wish I known long ago is that you can make your sims fill there low needs themselves, by just clicking on a low "need," your sim will most likely fix the need themselves.
