"My Top Five Favorite Minecraft Monsters"

Okay I have to admit.........I'm an avid Minecraft player!

Just the thought of having creative control of your world and environments is amazing to me. But just because you have this advantage, it doesn't stop the challenge of having to protect your builds.

But once the sun sets and the moon rises, the monsters come out to play! Zombies start to chase you but as soon you fight them off, you end up getting blown up by a Creeper! That just sucks doesn't it?

Well today, I'm going to list my favorite Minecraft baddies. Just a reminder that this is my own personal opinion so take this list with a grain of salt.

5: Skeletons

Damn, I really can't stand fighting these bastards! Especially when you have to fight a ton of them at once! But then again, I have a soft spot for them. I mean it's nice to see another undead monster be in the spotlight other than zombies. The thing I like most about them is how they're one of the only mobs along with Pillagers and the player who can use weapons, in this case bows and arrows.

I also like to headcanon that they are the dead ancestors of Alex so it can be the opposite of the Zombies being the ancestors of Steve so there's a win-win in all of this!

4: Zombies

Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind zombies once in a while. But sometimes I find that they get overplayed too much in different types of media (where's the love for werewolves?) Anyways, I have always liked the idea that Minecraft Zombies have the habit of carrying a plague-like illness which resulted in the creation of Zombie Villagers.

What I find also cool that it seems that they can have families which include offspring (which I can't stand to fight!) Maybe they were the one who killed of Steve's ancestors, who knows? The most important thing is that we can theorize and create more stories about them way more than any other mob.

3: The Ender Dragon

What's not cool about this vicious beast!? It's practically the overlord of The End! It really makes you wonder if the Endermen are actually working for her, or against her. As it says in the achievement: "Free The End", that could only mean one thing........

Anyways back to what I was saying, The Ender Dragon has to be one of the most powerful mob of all time next to The Wither. She is even the most toughest mob that I have to fight, mostly because you have to shoot her healing emeralds before actually dealing damage. But overall, she's at the top of my list.

2: Creepers

What's not to like about Creepers? Well for one thing, they're the face of Minecraft, the mascot per-say! They're on T-shirts, books, backpacks, lunch boxes, EVERYTHING!

But my favorite thing about them is that they were created by accident! Yes, it's the truth! When Notch was developing the model for the pig, there was an error that gave it an odd appearance, sort of how the Creeper looks today! Crazy, right?

Even though, they can be annoying sometimes when they blow up your houses, I like the idea that someone took a mistake and turned it into something new!

1: Endermen

These are without a doubt, my number one favorite mob in Minecraft. It's just something about them that makes them really mysterious! Where did they come from? Why do they hate water? Why do they get agitated when stared at? So many questions left unanswered!

To be honest, they used to kind a freak me out when I first started playing the game. Mostly due to how tall they were and their purple eyes gave me chills. But, I grew to love them and now whenever I see one, I just like to look at them from a distance, just to admire them.

Say what you will about them constantly placing blocks in random places, but personally my mind will never change about them!
