How to Farm Synthesized Maps in PoE 3.26

The guide of How to Farm Synthesized Maps in PoE 3.26

Synthesised Maps are rare and worth farming in Path of Exile. The Cortex is one of the most sought-after Synthesised Maps. Players who find the Cortex face tough fights and can get high-value drops. You should shape your atlas so you can see these maps more often, instead of waiting for a lucky spawn. The Cortex usually comes from specific map boss sources or atlas effects that change how maps appear PoE 1 Currency.

Method 1 — Use the Maven and Vivid Memories to raise drop chances. Put points or focus on atlas passives that give Vivid Memories. That passive increases the chance a final map boss will drop a Synthesised Map. Run high-tier maps while the Maven witnesses the fights. The Maven adds extra bosses and that gives you more rolls per map. Choose maps that you clear quickly so you can run more maps each hour. Fast clears mean more boss kills and more chances for special map drops.

Method 2 — Make boss-rush runs with Destructive Play. Take the Destructive Play keystone and run maps that let you reach the boss room fast. Destructive Play makes the Maven summon additional bosses during the witness event. More bosses mean more final boss kills and more opportunities for Synthesised Maps to drop. Use builds that move and kill single targets quickly, or run with a small group that can push straight to the boss. This method works well if you want steady map drops from boss encounters.

Plan your atlas and use the right tools. Focus on atlas passives that increase Synthesised Map chances and on nodes that help map drops. Use scarabs, sextants, and map-rolling to lift item quantity and drop rates. If you have Kirac or Zana missions that can reward special maps, run those missions when they appear. Mark 2–4 maps on the atlas that you can clear fast, then run them in a loop. A tight loop cuts travel time and raises your maps per hour.

Balance map tier and speed. Synthesised Maps drop more reliably from higher tier bosses, but higher tier maps take longer and bring harder enemies. Pick the highest tier you can clear fast and safely. If you push too high you will slow down and lose time that you could use to run more maps. If you go too low you will lose drop quality. Find a tier that fits your build and stick to it while you farm.

Use party roles and loadouts to cut risk. If you run with friends, assign roles. One player scouts and controls adds, one player takes boss threat, and one player secures chests and loot. If you go solo, use a build with good survivability and a quick path to the boss. Bring flasks, movement tools, and currency for repairs and map rolling. Expect fights at key caches and design a fallback spot where you can heal and sort loot. That will save time and keep runs consistent.

Watch the vendor windows and mission offers. Sometimes Kirac or Zana will sell or offer a Synthesised Map in mission windows. The Cortex is more likely to appear in certain vendor or mission windows than other Synthesis maps. Keep an eye on those windows and buy maps when they appear if the price is fair. Buying a single Cortex can save many hours of farming if the cost is reasonable.

Sell smart, not fast. The uniques and map copies you get from Synthesised runs can fetch good prices. Track the market and list high-value drops when demand is high. If you sell without checking prices you may get less buy PoE 1 Currency than your runs are worth. Use trade sites and exchange windows to time sales so you get the best return. Turning your map drops into stable PoE 1 Currency lets you buy more maps, craft gear, and roll more atlas nodes. This makes farming sustainable and predictable.
