How to Defeat the Nightscraper Behemoth: Weak Points Walkthrough

Master Every Phase and Exploit Its Vulnerabilities for a Clean Kill

By Richard BaileyPublished 7 months ago 4 min read

The Nightscraper Behemoth is one of the most intimidating enemies in the Behemoth universe, towering, elusive, and packed with deadly phases that punish even the slightest mistake.

With the right strategy and a deep understanding of its weaknesses, though, this towering menace becomes a calculated fight rather than a blind panic.

In this guide, you’ll get a full walkthrough of how to defeat the Nightscraper Behemoth. We’ll break down its weak points, phase transitions, and battle behaviors so you can enter the arena with confidence and emerge victorious.

What Makes the Nightscraper Behemoth So Dangerous?

This isn't your average Behemoth. The Nightscraper is an endgame-tier monster designed to test your awareness, timing, and mechanical precision.

It strikes with corrupted energy and void-infused claws, and can disappear into shadows before unleashing devastating ambushes. But what truly separates it from others is its shifting weak points and adaptive phases.

Its arena is cloaked in semi-darkness, limiting visibility and punishing players who don’t react quickly.

And unlike many Behemoths, its weak spots aren’t static, they change mid-fight depending on its current form. Success lies in predicting those changes and exploiting them in real time.

Preparation: Gear, Element, and Party Setup

Element to Use: Radiant or Light-element weapons work best here. The Nightscraper is vulnerable to light-based damage, especially during its Shadowform phase.

Armor Selection: Equip gear that boosts resistance to Void and Corruption. Many of its attacks inflict stacking debuffs that sap stamina and defense.

Ideal Team Composition:

  • One high-damage Light-element DPS
  • One tanky player who can interrupt or block charge attacks
  • A support-focused player who can cleanse debuffs
  • Optionally, a ranged DPS to keep pressure when the Behemoth takes to the sky

Phase 1: The Lurking Shadow

Behavior:

In the first phase, the Nightscraper moves with fluid, panther-like agility. It uses sweeping claws and quick lunges to test your group’s spacing.

Weak Point:

The weak point here is the upper back, just behind the shoulders. You’ll notice a faint, glowing mark when it’s exposed during its lunge recovery animations.

Strategy:

Wait for the Nightscraper to finish its dash or pounce. These brief pauses are your window. Dodge through the attack, close the gap, and hit that back mark with your hardest-hitting skills.

Ranged players should stay mobile and watch for the tail swipe, which comes quickly after a missed claw.

Tip: Don’t get greedy. Two solid hits are better than one long combo that leaves you exposed.

Phase 2: The Howl of the Void

Trigger:

Once reduced to 75% health, the Behemoth emits a shrieking cry, and the arena plunges into deeper darkness.

New Mechanics:

  • Visual range is reduced significantly.
  • Shadows spawn from the edge of the map and try to latch onto players.
  • Nightscraper gains a teleport ability that allows it to blink behind players.

Weak Point:

The weak spot shifts to the left leg, but only becomes vulnerable when the Nightscraper finishes a teleport attack. You’ll see a quick flicker of white light when the teleport ends, this is your opening.

Strategy:

Stick close to your group to avoid being picked off during a teleport. Assign one player to watch for shadows and clear them with AoE attacks. When the Behemoth reappears, dodge-roll sideways, not backwards, to avoid its follow-up tail slam. Then, strike the left leg while it’s momentarily exposed.

Advanced Tactic: If your party is coordinated, you can bait the teleport onto a tank while the rest of the team circles around to hit the exposed leg from the rear.

Phase 3: The Sky of Dread

Trigger:

At 50% health, the Nightscraper ascends into the air, unfolding jagged wings of black void energy.

New Mechanics:

  • Begins aerial divebombs.
  • Rains corruption projectiles from above.
  • Arena becomes a maze of moving shadow fields.

Weak Point:

The underside of the torso becomes the new vulnerability, but only when it's charging a divebomb. You’ll see a dark energy swirl gather at its core just before it strikes.

Strategy:

Lock onto the Nightscraper with ranged weapons and aim for the core as soon as the swirling animation starts. Melee users should wait for it to dive, then rush in immediately after impact and strike the underside while it recovers.

Keep moving, standing still here is fatal. The corruption fields rotate and collapse randomly, and stepping inside one slows movement and interrupts stamina regen.

Pro Tip: Use verticality to your advantage. Jump pads or elevated terrain can give you a brief window to hit the Behemoth mid-air.

Final Phase: The Mirrorform

Trigger:

At 25% health, the Nightscraper pulls in all shadow fields and creates a massive black dome. Inside, illusions of the Behemoth spawn and mimic previous attacks.

New Mechanics:

  • Illusions deal reduced damage but distract and confuse.
  • Real Behemoth glows slightly with a faint Radiant outline.
  • Mirror Attacks reflect abilities back at you if timed poorly.

Weak Point:

This is the trickiest part. The true weak point is the head, but you can only safely strike it after the Behemoth completes a mirrored attack.

Strategy:

Ignore the illusions unless they corner you. Focus on tracking the glow of the real Nightscraper. Wait for it to finish a mirrored ability, usually a slow spin or claw slam, then dash in, land two to three precise hits to the head, and back out.

Coordinate interrupts if possible. If you stun the Behemoth after a failed mirrored attack, it becomes fully vulnerable for five seconds, long enough to unload ultimates or combos.

Victory and Rewards

  • Once the Nightscraper is defeated, you'll receive:
  • Nightscraper Core (used for crafting Radiant weapons)
  • Voidscale Hide (used in high-resist armor sets)
  • Echoing Fang (enhances teleport-dodge abilities)

These components are crucial for progressing into the highest-tier missions and crafting specialized anti-shadow gear.

Final Tips for Mastering the Fight

  • Stay Calm: The battle is long and punishes panic. Patience is your best weapon.
  • Communicate Often: Especially in later phases, teamwork and coordination will make or break your run.
  • Adapt Quickly: The shifting weak points aren’t just a gimmick—they force you to change your rhythm and positioning constantly.
  • Don’t Solo: While it’s technically possible, soloing this fight is more of a badge of honor than an efficient grind. Bring allies.

The Nightscraper Behemoth isn’t just a battle, it’s a statement. Defeating it requires strategy, awareness, and courage. But when it finally falls and the darkness lifts, you’ll know you earned every inch of that victory.
