GTA 6 Story Speculation

Before you read any of this, just know that the following is simply a fan theory about where I think the story of GTA 6 may go. This isn't an official story leak, it is merely a fun bit of speculation from a long time fan of this game series, please take what I've written here with a grain of salt. I'm basing my theory on previous GTA stories and what I think the trailers are subtly trying to tell us. I might be entirely right, completely wrong or somewhere in the middle between the two. My GTA 6 Story theory:

Opening mission: police bust into J&L's gang hide out, we play this mysterious Detective (who isn't even shown on the R* Newswire!) because he is the secret third player character. Proof: the first person footage of trailer 1 clearly shows police gameplay, he is at the back of the squad in trailer 2.

Lucia is arrested during this break in, then the game cuts to her prison psychiatrist asking "do you know why you're here?" Lucia replies "bad luck I guess" we will likely have some in prison gameplay, mostly cutscenes perhaps a few fights that introduce us to the melee combat as Lucia. Then we'll play as Jason as he drives to the prison to meet her after her sentence is over. I believe the story may copy that of 5 somewhat, with Jason and Lucia's criminal past being unplayable and only mentioned, adding mystery and a rich history to the characters like we saw in the previous game.

After being released from prison I believe Jason and Lucia will try to live a crime free life, as Lucia does community service, while Jason does his job (currently unknown). However, I believe their criminal past will catch up with them and they'll be forced to return to their criminal ways or perhaps grow tired of being citizens and decide to rebel, firstly by robbing the gas station we see prominently at the end of trailer 1. This will kickstart the entire focus of the main story as we essentially rebuild our lost criminal empire from the ashes, reconnecting with old gangs and criminals the couple met in their past along the way. I believe somebody within this criminal circle will betray them.again, resulting in history almost repeating itself. In a dramatic turn we may lose everything we built yet again and have to hide out in the Everglades, just like how Michael and Trevor had to hide in the desert during GTA 5.

I believe the Everglades arc of the story will eventually lead to them figuring out who betrayed them (perhaps both times), ending with an epic chase through the swamps by helicopter as the enemy shoots at us from a speeding boat down below. If this is indeed the ending of the game, I imagine a climax to the story very similar to that of GTA 4 where we chase down one of the two main villains (this changed depending on your choices) by helicopter and eventually kill them, ending the game and putting the whole drama at rest.

I could be wrong about all of this and my theory of their being a third Detective/cop player character doesn't really fit into this narrative I've put together so far. Of course, this isn't an official story leak, this is just my prediction of where I think the story may lead based on previous history with the Grand Theft Auto games and from what we've seen from both trailers for GTA 6.
