A New Way to Game

With the holidays approaching and the conditions of the pandemic, most people may be looking for extra cash. Now, like several people, I have a full-time job, and like many, once in a while, the conditions of our economy has affected my income. Therefore, last year, when I was looking to get a little cash for the holiday, I was surprised to find out where I could get it.

Here’s the setting, I’m standing at the door, six feet away from my sister, masked, and she tells me about this app that she has been on. She was excited, because she had saved up enough money on the app to buy my spouse and I a new washing machine. Now, given the results, I was quite interested in finding out how she had made that much money on an app. There are a lot of apps that state that you can make money by taking surveys and watching ads, etc. However, there have been several instances that I have tried these types of apps out and ended up with no results.

So, given my sudden state of curiosity, I asked her how she had made the money. “Swagbucks,” she said.

“Swagbucks?” I questioned. I had tried this app before, and I had never made that much money.

“Yeah, you have to play the games,” she told me.

Now, I had never heard of playing games making anyone money, and when I had tried the app years ago, the main source of making money was by doing the surveys (if they didn’t kick you out first). So, I had to ask about the games. My sister explained the process to me, and I took a note to look into it later.

Well, the next day, work was slow, and there wasn’t a money fairy present, so I decided to look into what she had told me. I opened the app and looked for the games, and what I saw shocked me. My sister was right! The company was paying people to play certain games to a specified level for money, and some of the games were worth $50 a piece.

I decided to try this process out. I downloaded one of the casino games, and I started to play. It took a while, but I beat it. After accomplishing this task, I looked under my profile in the Activity section to see if it had been recorded, and it had. I wasn’t quite sold yet. I needed to have the money in hand before I called it a success.

Therefore, I requested one of the gift cards and waited for an email that told me how long it would take to process the request. A couple of days later, I received a gift card. I immediately went to the store in which I had requested the gift card to make sure that the code worked. It did! I was shocked. Now, that I knew that this wasn’t a scam and was something that I actually could accomplish, I would be able to pay for my holiday expenses.

I spent most of the months before the holidays working on these games and making money. I even found out later that I could cash my points out for PayPal cash and send it to the bank to pay bills and other expenses. This was a blessing. Eventually, I had played all of the games worth playing, and I had achieved my holiday goals. Work got back on track, and I got through the holidays.

Nevertheless, now that the holidays are here again, I did give a little look on the site to see if they had any new game offers, and they do. Now, I don’t consider myself a gamer. In fact, there have been several times where I’ve had to tell my kids to put the games down, but if you are looking for some extra cash, it wouldn’t hurt to check out Swagbucks. They really do pay.

Side Note: The gaming section in this app doesn’t come up right away, so here is how you get there:

Create an Account (It’s free, and you get free money just for doing it.)

On the top of the screen, there is a section that says Discover. Click it.

You should see five categories come up, one of them being Gaming. Click that.

Then, choose your game. (Make sure that you read the rules of the offer. Most of them want you to get to a specific level.)
