Paying Apps

Hey everyone! Since Covid struck and with a lot of people stuck with no job there are a lot more "paying apps" on google play store. How many of you have actually gotten paid though? I myself have been trying to earn money with these apps since last year, only to be let down when close to the cash out point. Knife Bounty let me get up to $95.02 pretty quickly, then abruptly stopped giving me cash. For about a month I continued playing, not wanting to believe the cash out was never going to come. Whenever I should have received cash all I got was apples. I wrote numerous complaints to the developer but received no response. Then there was Word Juicy who glitched out, then suddenly disappeared from both my phone and google play store all on the same day when I was less than a dollar away from the $100 cash out requirement. I believe it now goes under the name Word Sweety. That developer assured me I would get paid once meeting the cash out requirements, but then made that impossible. There was also Lucky Dollar who almost allowed me to reach cash out, after a month or so of playing faithfully every day, anticipating the $50 cash out. I was only .06 away from $50 when that game also disappeared from my phone and google play store. The Idle games all lured me in with rapid cash rewards, even allowed me to meet the cash out point on one of there games, only to inform me of all the other requirements, ( such as needing to reach a level that was way out of reach ) and then it to vanished from the play store. Word Connect ( the original ) was one of my favorite games, but it too let me down. When I reached $90 it started paying me .01 every 15 -20 levels so that cash out was never reached. All these apps bombarded me with ads, while also infecting my phone with adware viruses.

Today google play store is overrun with these so-called "paying apps" that never had the first intention of paying you. They lure you in with promises of huge cash outs, hook you with level rewards that grow smaller and smaller as you reach the cash out goal, waste your precious time watching their multitude of ads in hopes of receiving your promised reward after weeks or even months of playing their games faithfully, and then comes the ultimate let down when you finally realize you've been duped and there really is no reward to make it all worthwhile.

The kicker is the dummy apps they have you installing all the while, masking the one true app that might be for real and be true to their word. There are so many dummy apps that look identical to the real paying app you can't tell the difference. So it's like playing the lottery. The chances are one in a million that you will actually end up playing the true app that really does pay you and live up to it's promises.

Times are hard enough now without these scamming developers faking us out with false promises that we so want to believe will help us make our bills this month or help put food on our tables to feed our kids. I'm all for apps that pay you to watch their ads and play their games, if they are for real. So far Receipt Pal is the only one I actually received a reward from. How about you guys?

I would love to hear from you fellow gamers who are seeking extra income this way. I would love to hear your input on which games are for real, which are fake, and what your experiences have been. Isn't there some way google play could verify that these developers are living up to their promises and not out to scam us and leave us with nothing but anger and disappointment? These developers that are lying to the public really are giving google play a bad reputation. Maybe the people in charge of accepting and rejecting apps should take that in consideration and find a way to protect the public from these deceitful app developers who are only thinking of themselves and how they can get rich off unsuspecting victims like us!!!
