The first and primary method for addressing the breach is the essential and advanced encyclopedia, which is contained in the game itself.

It is not a simple glossary, but rather a sophisticated text that continues to grow as the game proceeds. If a character speaks the term “hazmat”, the term lights up, and you are encouraged to touch the word for a specific definition in the glossary. Most of the time, these entries are not just single definitions, but rather, they are accompanied by additional context, background, and viewpoints about the topic. This method allows the player to easily absorb the information and incorporate it into the gameplay. It is a game that is measured and appreciates nuance, offering a descent into the World of Darkness that proves some secrets, even those whose reveal is shrouded with complexity, are worth uncovering.
