Alone in the dark 1992

Attic:
- As you enter the attic, swiftly move to the window and push the wardrobe along the wall to prevent any monsters from entering.
- Push the chest on top of the trapdoor to prevent another monster from emerging.
- Open the wardrobe to obtain an old Indian cover.
- Check the chest for a rifle.
- Grab the oil lamp from the table.
- Find a letter behind the piano, read it, and then drop it.
- Head to the corner of the room and proceed down the stairs.
Storeroom:
- Pick up the bow from the floor.
- Retrieve the oil can from the shelves.
- Use the oil can on your lamp.
- Drop the empty oil can before leaving.
Upstairs Hallway:
- Walk forward slightly and enter the first doorway on your left.
Sitting Room:
- Search the desk to find a key.
- Unlock the chest with the key to obtain a saber.
- Drop the chest key.
- Open the door and use the saber to defeat the zombie.
- Proceed to the hallway and enter the door directly opposite.
Dressing Room:
- Wait and eliminate the zombie with your saber.
- Go through the other doorway into the next room.
Bedroom:
- Investigate the small nightstand behind the bed and find a vase.
- Use the vase to defeat the monster breaking through the window.
- Pick up the key hidden inside the vase.
- Use the key to unlock the dresser and take two small mirrors from inside.
- Drop the dresser key.
- Leave through the door and proceed straight across the hallway through the opposite door.
Bathroom:
- Open the cabinet and take the first aid case.
- Open the case to find a flask. Drink the contents for added health.
- Drop the empty flask and first aid case.
- Leave the bathroom and go through the door at the end of the hallway.
Upper Lobby:
- Place one small mirror on each of the grey statues along the wall.
- Descend the stairs now that the path is clear.
Middle Floor - Middle Lobby:
- Go around to the right and enter the door straight ahead.
Sitting Room:
- Take the gramophone from the table.
- Retrieve the matchbox from the fireplace along with the poker.
- Search the cabinet for cartridges to reload your rifle.
- Return to the lobby and pass around the base of the stairs through the door directly opposite.
Middle Hallway:
- Enter the first door and take the notebook from the fireplace.
- Quickly turn around and dispatch the monster.
- Read the notebook and drop it.
- Return to the hallway and enter the second door.
Bathroom:
- Quickly take the jug from the floor.
- Return to the bathroom and search the cabinet for a first aid case.
- Open the case, use the flask, and drop both the empty flask and case.
- Proceed down the hallway to the next door and enter.
Black Bedroom:
- Use the matchbox to light your lamp.
- Take the very heavy statuette and book from the table.
- Retrieve bullets from the nightstand before leaving.
- Automatically douse the lamp using the Open/Search action.
- Read the book and drop it.
Returning to the Middle Lobby:
- Go back along the hallway to the middle lobby.
Middle Lobby:
- Throw the very heavy statuette at the suit of armor to obtain a sword.
- Proceed through one of the doorways to the sides of the stairs to descend further.
Ground Floor - Ground Lobby:
- Drop the gramophone for later.
- Open the closed door to the right and proceed.
Cooking Kitchen:
- Find the pantry and take the cellar key from the wall.
- Search the cupboards for a box of biscuits. Consume them for additional health.
- Drop the empty box and leave the pantry.
- Open the other dark door, kill the zombie, and take the oil can.
- Search the coal pile for a box of shoes. Open the box and retrieve the revolver.
- Use the bullets to load the revolver and drop the empty box and oil can.
- Fill your empty jug with water from the barrel.
- Pick up the pot of soup.
- Open the final door and enter.
Ground Hallway:
- Proceed through the door straight ahead.
Dining Room zombies:
- Quickly place the pot of soup on the table's end.
- Wait for zombies to sit before moving on.
- Go to the opposite doorway near the cabinet and leave.
Smoking Room:
- Grab the lighter from the table.
- Use your water jug on the cigars.
- Search the small cupboard for a book.
- Read the book and drop it.
Heading Back:
- Return to the ground lobby and go around the stairs through the door directly opposite.
Courtyard:
- Gathering Arrows:
- Swiftly search the statue to find three arrows.
- Leave the courtyard.
Ground Lobby:
- Returning Upstairs:
- Head back up the stairs.
- Middle Floor - Middle Lobby:
- Retrieve the gramophone you left earlier.
- Go around to the left into the hallway and through the door at the end.
Gallery:
- Cover the first painting with your old Indian cover.
- Use your bow to shoot the far painting, eliminating a hidden monster.
- Proceed through the doorway at the far end.
Jeremy's Bedroom:
- Take the false book from the table.
- Push the grandfather clock aside and find a key and a parchment behind it.
- Read the parchment and drop it.
- Return to the corridor and go through the double doors.
Library:
- Place the oil lamp to light the room.
- Navigate around the room and find a mechanism behind some books.
- Use your false book on the mechanism to reveal a secret passage.
- Take the talisman from the bench.
- Search the bookshelves to find a dagger, two books, and two parchments.
- Read the books and parchments and drop them.
- Use the dagger to defeat the monster in the library.
- Pick up the oil lamp.
Returning to the Lobby:
- Open the double doors to return to the lobby.
Middle Lobby:
- Go through one of the doorways to the side of the stairs to descend again.
Ground Floor - Ground Lobby:
- Drop the gramophone.
- Use your silver key to unlock the door next to the courtyard.
- Drop the silver key before going through the doorway.
Cellar:
- Descend the stairs.
- Find two barrels on their sides and use the block to open a dark passage (do not enter it).
- Return to the stairs and head back up.
Continuing the Journey:
- Go forward down the main corridor and through the double doors to your right.
Dining Room:
- Proceed through the nearest single door.
Smoking Room:
- Use your key to unlock the double doors furthest from the cabinet.
- Drop the key and enter.
Jeremy's Study:
- Insert your old cavalry saber into the coat of arms on the wall.
- Search the bookcase to find another record and a book.
- Read the book and drop it.
- Leave the room.
Returning to the Smoking Room:
- Go straight across through the other double doors out to the hallway and continue through yet another set of double doors.
Pirate Room:
Confronting the Pirate:
- Use your sword to defeat the pirate.
- Take the key and pick up the book from the ground.
- Read the book and drop it.
- Use the new key to open the double doors and drop it before going through.
Dance Hall:
- Walk into a corner of the room and use your record (Dance of Death).
- Avoid the dancing spirits and retrieve the key from over the fireplace.
- Leave this room and go back out through the pirate room, across the hall, and into the study.
Jeremy's Study:
- Go down the secret staircase.
Underground:
- Run across the collapsing bridge and follow the tunnel until encountering a giant worm.
- Evade the worm by taking the right path at the first branch.
- Defeat the monster along this path and continue until seeing the worm again.
- Turn around, go back to the branch, and take the other path to avoid the worm.
Overcoming Obstacles:
- Step onto the decking and run until reaching the lighter section, then jump over it.
- Proceed to the end, climb up to the next stone ledge.
- Defeat the next monster and continue to the next opening, shooting the flying monster.
- Jump over stone pillars to reach the next ledge.
- Follow the tunnel, take the right path at the branch, and shoot the flying monster when reaching a high area.
- Jump over lighter sections, make your way to the other side, use your key to unlock the chest, and take the gem and book.
- Read the book and drop it. Push the rock behind the chest and go through the opening.
- Follow the stone passage around the corner, drop down, and go straight ahead into a dark area.
Navigating the Maze:
- Use your oil lamp to illuminate the area.
- Navigate the maze (go far left, then far down, then to the right) to find a door.
- Use your gem in the door and go through.
Facing Challenges:
- Drop into the water, dodge fireballs, and avoid a monster to reach the ledge in front of the tree.
- Take the hook from here and place your talisman on the ledge to stop fireballs.
- Use your lighter to relight the oil lamp, throw the lamp at the tree, climb up to the other rock ledge.
- Use your hook in the door mechanism, then go through.
- Turn right immediately, use your hook on another door, then go through.
Returning Above Ground:
- Head back through the near opening, go back over the decking, jumping over the light section.
- Climb up into the tunnels and go along the main path, then go through a small opening.
Ground Floor - Cellar:
- Climb back up the stairs.
- Proceeding to the Exit:
- Go straight down the main hall and through the front doors to escape.
