Without the United States, would the world be in chaos?

Many people believe that if the world does not have the United States as a "world policeman", then the world order will become chaotic and the world will fall into war. The world cannot do without the United States, and the world would not be better off without it.

Is there any truth in this argument?

Let's go back to history and take a look at the historical role of the United States.

First, the world before the birth of the United States.

America has a history of less than 250 years. Before that, there was no such country as the United States in the world.

Before the birth of the United States, the Chinese had gone through a history of more than 4000 years. Qin Emperor Hanwu, swept the heroes, Tang Zong and Song Zu, wrote Chinese chapters, and Zheng he made seven voyages to the West; the Ottoman Empire fought all the way to Vienna and Megatron Europe; Portugal and Spain carved up the world and established a world empire; Britain established a British colony in North America.

In a world without the United States, there is war, peace, evil and beauty. In short, everything is working well.

Without the United States, the earth would still turn.

Second, from the founding of the United States to before World War II.

In 1776, the people of British North American colonies issued the Declaration of Independence. In 1783, the War of Independence ended and the United States was founded.

After more than one hundred years of development, by 1900, the scale of the American economy had already been the largest in the world.

In 1914, World War I broke out. In 1917, the United States participated in the first World War, which helped the Anglo-French allies to win the first World War.

At that time, the United States wanted to use its victorious status to take the lead in establishing the League of Nations to intervene in the affairs of Asia and Europe. But Britain and France are still strong and refuse to allow the United States to intervene in European affairs. The US Congress knew that Britain and France could not be manipulated and refused to join the League of Nations. The attempt of American power to enter the Eurasian continent has not been realized.

In short, although the United States developed by leaps and bounds in this period, its international status and influence were far inferior to those of the European powers such as Britain and France. America's influence is limited to the Americas.

For people outside America, without the United States, it would have little impact.

Third, from the outbreak of World War II to the disintegration of the Soviet Union.

Britain and France had refused to allow the United States to intervene in European affairs. Japan also rejects the United States in the western Pacific. It is very difficult for the power of the United States to go deep into Asia and Europe.

But the outbreak of World War II changed all that: under the German offensive, France was subjugated directly, and both Britain and the Soviet Union were in urgent need of American assistance.

In the end, the United States played an important role in World War II.

After the end of World War II, the United States did not withdraw all its troops to its homeland, but retained a large number of military bases in many countries in Europe and Asia.

The United States also cleverly took advantage of the threat of the Soviet Union to have military bases in more countries. At its peak, the United States had more than 5000 military bases in more than a hundred countries. The United States uses military bases to firmly control these countries, including Britain, France, Japan, Germany and other developed countries.

During this period, the United States achieved its coveted goal, not only intervening in Eurasian affairs, but also controlling dozens of Eurasian countries, which had an important influence on Eurasia.

To be fair, during this period, despite the outbreak of hot war and cold war, the United States still played an active role in the world. Peace has been maintained in most parts of the world.

The means to achieve peace are: overseas military presence and nuclear balance. The United States and the Soviet Union all use the same means.

Without the United States during this period, the world might indeed have changed.

Fourth, from the collapse of the Soviet Union to the present.

From the end of World War II to the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the United States only participated in two large-scale hot wars on the Korean Peninsula and Southeast Asia. After the Vietnam War, the United States declined in strength, took the defensive to deal with the threat of the Soviet Union, and never launched a large-scale war.

But the collapse of the Soviet Union made the United States arrogant, thinking that there was no more country to restrain the United States. As a result, the United States launched many wars in the Middle East and Afghanistan, and instigated a number of "color revolutions."

During this period, the United States has been the main driver of world unrest. Wherever Uncle Sam's black hand goes, there will be war.

From now on, without the United States, the United States withdraws its power from the Eurasian continent and ceases to be a "world policeman." there will be one less war maker in the world.

Why would you say that?

There is an "EU" in Europe to maintain peace in Europe. If the United States does not stir up trouble, the European Union will make peace with Russia. Russian state-owned energy, there is a market in Europe, we cooperate to make money. Why not?

China and Russia also have a market, the other has energy, and they cooperate to make money.

In East Asia, without the interference of the United States, a free trade zone between China, Japan and South Korea has long been established to cooperate in economic development.

As for the Middle East, there may still be wars, but after the war, order will be restored and we will also embark on the road of economic development.

Conclusion: throughout history, the United States is not indispensable. The period from World War II to the disintegration of the Soviet Union was the most influential and indispensable period for the United States. But now the United States is already the source of war, without the United States, the world might be more peaceful. The loss of Lenovo and the United States will have little impact on mankind.
