Visitors From the Past?

Ancient Clues That Suggest We’re Not the First on Earth

By Areeba UmairPublished about a month ago 4 min read

I’ve been meaning to talk about this for a while now. If you’ve followed my posts, you know I believe in extraterrestrial life. It just makes sense, doesn’t it? The universe is mind-bogglingly vast, and the odds that intelligent life only exists here on this tiny blue planet are astronomically low.

If you believe alien life exists, the next logical question is: Have they visited us before?

Think about it. Why would highly advanced beings wait until we invented blurry-picture cameras and started flying noisy planes to make contact? Wouldn’t it have been smarter, and perhaps easier, to visit thousands of years ago?

With an open mind, let’s explore some interesting clues that might be evidence of ancient alien visits. I’m not saying these are 100% proof, but they are certainly fascinating to consider. You be the judge.

1. The Battle Over Nuremberg, Germany (1561)

Imagine waking up early on April 14, 1561, in Nuremberg and witnessing a celestial brawl. A woodcut, created by printer Hans Glaser, captured a terrifying sight: strange rods and globe-shaped objects appeared to be flying and fighting in the sky over the city for more than an hour. The accompanying description stated that many of these objects fell to the ground and burned.

Skeptics often suggest this was a “solar phenomenon,” like a sun dog (a bright spot of light in the sky caused by ice crystals). However, when you look at what a sun dog actually is, it doesn’t look anything like the chaotic, battle-like description. Could this have been an aerial skirmish, or simply a remarkable mass hallucination?

2. The Mysterious Paracas Skulls

In 1928, a famous Peruvian archaeologist named Julio Tello unearthed over 300 extremely unusual skulls in a mass grave on the southern coast of Peru. These skulls were drastically elongated, almost looking like something out of a science fiction movie.

While some ancient cultures practiced cranial deformation, binding a child’s head to change its shape, this process can only alter the shape, not the size. The Paracas skulls are different. Some are reportedly over 25% larger and 60% heavier than a normal human skull.

Even more compelling is the DNA evidence. The director of the Paracas History Museum sent samples to a lab for DNA testing. The conclusion? The mitochondrial DNA showed mutations unknown in any human, primate, or animal known to science. It suggested a completely new human-like being, very distant from Homo sapiens, Neanderthals, or Denisovans. Could these beings have been an entirely different species, perhaps not even from Earth?

3. Ancient Cave Paintings and Drawings

Seeing drawings of UFOs and aliens is common today, but finding them in art from thousands of years ago is truly thought-provoking.

In caves near Shirama, India, paintings were discovered that appear to show round, flying objects and figures that resemble extraterrestrials, some even wearing what looks like a spacesuit. Local villagers have a generational story about the ‘Rojila’ people, small-sized beings who descended from the sky in round objects, sometimes taking villagers who were never seen again. Some view this as perhaps the first documented instance of alien abduction.

Similar fascinating images can be found globally:

  • A 10,000 B.C. painting in an Italian cave seems to show two figures in space suits.
  • A 13,000 B.C. cave painting in France shows an object that is either a raincloud, a flying saucer, or perhaps an early cosmic encounter.

4. Structures That Defy Explanation

We’re all familiar with the Pyramids of Giza and Stonehenge, but the engineering required to build them is still mind-boggling. Even more mysterious are ruins like Puma Punku in Bolivia.

Located at an elevation of over 12,000 feet, the massive stone blocks of this structure are cut with such perfect precision that you can’t even wedge a needle between the joints. The cuts are so clean that some researchers believe it would have required tools that rival modern-day laser-cutting technology.

Adding to the mystery, some of these blocks weigh around 150 tons, and the stones were transported from sources miles away. In a time when horses were not used in the region, and the elevation was above the natural tree line (meaning logs for rolling were scarce), how did ancient people move hundreds of tons of perfectly cut stone up a steep incline?

Puma Punku, the Nazca Lines in Peru, and the Moai on Easter Island are all ancient structures that are difficult, if not impossible, to replicate even today.

5. UFOs in Classic European Paintings

When looking closely at classic artworks, you occasionally find strange, unexpected objects in the sky.

In a 15th-century work attributed to Domenico Ghirlandaio, which hangs in Florence, a Madonna is depicted with a strange, flying, disc-like object over her shoulder. Below, a man is clearly looking up at the object, shielding his eyes from its light. Some argue this is symbolic of God’s glory, but others see a clear depiction of a UFO.

Another striking example is The Crucifixion of Christ, a 14th-century fresco in Kosovo. Near the top of the painting are two objects that look remarkably like speeding spaceships with pilots inside. One pilot even seems to be looking back at the other craft. While historians often say these represent the Sun and the Moon (common in Byzantine art), their shape and the presence of what look like control sticks really make you wonder.

A Smarter Strategy?

The evidence is all over the world: ancient accounts of flying objects, structures that seem impossibly built, and human-like remains that defy known genetics.

If highly advanced alien beings do exist (and researchers have updated the famous Drake equation to suggest the odds of us being alone are incredibly slim), why wouldn’t they have made contact thousands of years ago?

Perhaps it was a smarter strategy. Back then, they might have been revered as gods descending from the sky. Now, an unexpected arrival would likely be met with fear, panic, and an immediate military response.

It’s just food for thought. Keep an open mind and decide for yourself!
