The Astrological Significance of the Overturn of Roe V. Wade
Planet of Venus
On December first, 2021, I woke up as any other day to study the current placements of the stars. During my studies, I received a Twitter notification. It read Dobbs V. Jackson's oral argument. I couldn’t help but notice the significance behind our galaxy’s planet placements.
To begin my observation, I realized Venus is located in Capricorn. Venus is the planet of love and beauty that represents the feminine. Capricorn is the sign of Saturn. Which is a representation of authority, the father, and masculinity. Venus and Capricorn are incompatible. Yet, both show traits and qualities that signify strength and persistence. The planet Venus in Greek mythology is the roman counterpart of Aphrodite. Aphrodite was the Goddess of fertility, victory, and prostitution. The planet of Saturn in Greek mythology is Cronos. He was the God of time, dissolution, and generations. Given the Greek God and Goddess’s traits, it’s evident where their differences lie.
It was a small five degrees where Venus was also in conjunction with Pluto. When two planets are conjunct, they are very close in the sky. This is when the planet’s energies merge, enhancing their power. Pluto, the underworld God Hades presides over the afterlife. The planet represents creation and destruction. The substance of the chart reading for Dobbs V. Jackson is undeniable. It also has similarities to abortion cases in history. Like, Roe V. Wade and Casey V. Planned Parenthood. During both of these cases, Venus was also in the sign of Capricorn. This time there was a colossal planetary aspect. Venus met up with Pluto at the end of 2021, during a retrograde period.
As a timeline, Venus entered Capricorn on November fifth, 2021. Dobbs V. Jackson's Oral Argument was on December first. Shortly after, Venus went retrograde on December nineteenth. When a planet goes retrograde, it means that the planet appears to be moving backward. It means attributes of this planet reverse. In this instance, it was a reverse of precedence. On February, second, the United States had its first-ever Pluto return since 1776. A Pluto return takes 240 years to complete. Any planetary return symbolizes death and rebirth. It is the end of a revolution for the planet of creation or destruction. Which can only mean one thing — a new beginning.
The astrological placements were already symbolic enough. Yet this iconic Pluto return took place on the infamous Twosday on 2,22,2022. The significance behind angel number 222 is hope, rebalance, and duality. This gives us a little hope in this madness. Things began to slow down until the leaked draft on May second when Venus entered the sign of Aries. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and represents the beginning. Aries is run by Mars, the planet of passion, war, and action. But it wasn’t until Venus entered Gemini on June 24th, that they overturned Roe. Gemini is the constellation of socialization. It makes sense that this was when our society came together to protest.
While Venus entered Gemini on the day they overturned Roe, we also entered cancer season on June 21st. Cancer is the constellation run by the moon, which is a representation of the mother. At the same time, the moon was conjunct Uranus. Uranus is the planet of rebellion. Also known as the awakener. With a strong history of sudden shocks enlightening a path of liberation.
