Before I start writing this article can someone please get me my tinfoil hat? Thanks. Aliens are all around us and they have influenced the human race greatly. There are even different types of aliens that are described in ancient legends and many of these legends describe a connection between us and these alien races.

Ancient Aliens in Sumer

The first historically recorded civilization as we know it today was Sumer. It was located in modern day Iraq between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers. These people had extensive knowledge on astronomy, math, farming, and their language was very advanced for their time. Some examples of this is the knowledge of Pluto and the fact that they made the calendar that we still use today. Some artifacts found from Sumer that should not have been there yet include clay pot batteries, a flyable model airplane, and drawings of helicopters, planes, and spaceships. They also had a complex religion with a premise of humans serving the gods. Ancient astronaut theorists think that these gods were actually extraterrestrials.

In 1976, Zecharia Sitchin wrote a book called “The Twelfth Planet” where he translated a 5,000 year old tablet from Sumer. According to the tablet these “gods” ruled the Earth and traveled through the sky. These “gods” were known as the Annunauki and they were from the planet “Nibiru.” The legend says that Nibiru got pulled into our solar system by gravity and collided with another planet. That broken piece became Earth and life began to grow on it. Eventually Nibiru started to run low on gold so the annunaki came to Earth. They then created a hybrid human/alien slave race to mine gold. This race is the modern day human. Sitchin even met with Dr. Robert Harrington, an astronomer from the naval observatory who had evidence of a tenth planet beyond pluto. A proven fact that makes this story even stranger is that the first trace of modern human DNA was found from a woman at a goldmine 100,000 years ago. There are way more ancient alien theories like this but because I could write a whole novel on this topic, I need to move on.

Starseeds

I write mostly spirituality related content and a concept that we have in spirituality is that of starseeds. To be a starseed means that you had a past life on another planet. This legend comes from what is known as the Akashic records which is an energetic collection of everything that has ever happened. Since they are made of energy, the only way to access is through the art of channeling. According to the channelers and psychics, the starseeds are here to make the Earth a better place. They know how to do this because they have an old and advanced alien soul. These people often feel like they don’t fit in with anyone because they have a deep untapped knowledge from somewhere else. They also tend to feel homesick even though they are home. This is because their soul dreams of other worlds beyond Earth that they once knew. Sometimes these people even have alien-esque physical features like large eyes, weird birthmarks, and long necks. They also have a very strong intuition and psychic abilities as their soul is developed enough to unlock these gifts. They can also be born under strange circumstances like a mother thought to be infertile becoming pregnant. Because these legends were created by channeling, nobody really knows the truth but it's just fun to look at!

Extraterrestrials Identified

There are actually types of aliens that channelers and psychics have identified and these aliens often create the starseeds here on Earth. One of the most prevalent types is the Pleiadians. It is said that these extraterrestrials assisted with various civilizations on Earth from 225,000 BC to 10 AD and that they have returned recently to help us become better, more spiritual people. There are other races like this that include the Arcurians, Sirians, Adromedans, Lyrans, Orions, Antarians, Scions, and more.

Alien theories and legends are fascinating to me. Even if none of it is real, I find it comforting to think that there is more out there than just humans. Most people think that the aliens are scary but I feel like if something horrible were to happen it would have already happened. One last strange thought about aliens is looking at the stereotypical grey alien. How did we come up with this image and traits surrounding them and how did we all know and automatically accept that they are like that? Probably because we have seen them before.
