When Rashton saw that Emerald-Green had been tortured to death, and had lost her human form, he felt satisfied and unsatisfied. He said to the maidservants, "Drag her into the kitchen, lock her up, and give her no food."
"Said Rashton, pleased with himself, and went to sleep comfortably.
Early the next morning, on a whim, he ordered the maidservants to drag the emerald green from the kitchen to him and beat and tortured her again. When she was beaten until she was black and blue, he ordered the servants to drag her back to the kitchen and put her under their supervision. ZLB had been tortured to death by Raschton and was in so much pain that he crouched in a corner of the kitchen.
She moaned and mumbled, "I firmly believe that Allah is the sole ruler and Muhammad is his apostle. With Allah, this will pass. Allah will bless me! That's as reliable as it gets."
A maid heard a knock at the door and asked the old woman kindly what she wanted.
The old woman quickly said to her, "I have come to sell jewelry and rings. Do any of your ladies want any jewellery?"
"Yes, please come in." "Answered the maid, and led the old woman into the house, where she sat with her companions.
The girls around the old lady, are in the strip cage pick their beloved jewelry, ready to buy down to wear. At the same time, the old woman, with a kind and friendly air, talked warmly to them, and deliberately kept the price of the jewels low, so as to give them more advantage, so as to make them feel better, and thus win their favor. Then, while the girls were merrily choosing their jewels, she put them off, rolling her eyes in the direction from which the moans and groans came.
She saw the emerald green bound and curled up on the ground, unable to move, looking very pitiful. She could not help crying, but still pretended not to know the emerald green, pointing at her deliberately and asking the girls:
"Children, why have you tied up this little girl?"
The girls do not scheming, listen to her question, the whole story of the emerald green told her. At last they consoled themselves, saying, "It is not our intention to treat her so badly, but we dare not disobey his Lordship's orders, and it is well that he is now away on his journey."
"Children, since your master is not at home, I suggest that you untie the poor girl, and let her free for a little while, so that she can breathe. It will not be too late to take the rope and tie her up as it is, when your master is almost home. It won't be a problem for you. In short, build up some virtue, and Allah will bless you."
"You're right. It seems so."
The girls readily followed the advice of the old lady, and as expected, tied up the emerald green pine, and took some food to her.
When the old woman saw that things had turned a corner, ZLB felt relieved for a while, but she was still hiding her joy and pretending to be compassionate, only feeling sorry for herself and sighing:
"I wish I had broken my legs and never come to your house. Oh! I really don't want to see such tragic things that hurt heaven and humanity!"
