What do you see through Mr. Minh Tue's walk from North to South?
In recent days, many clips have appeared on social media recording Mr. Minh Tue, also known as Le Anh Tu, 43 years old, originally from Ha Tinh province, residing in Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province, walking from North to South.

In recent days, many clips have appeared on social media recording Mr. Minh Tue, also known as Le Anh Tu, 43 years old, originally from Ha Tinh province, residing in Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province, walking from North to South.
When he left, Mr. Tue did not wear a hat, did not wear sandals, wore patched clothes, begged for food, ate one vegetarian meal a day before 12 o'clock, did not listen to music, watch movies, did not keep money... and refused all financial support from everyone...

If the story were just that, there would be nothing to discuss. He did not do anything too unusual, because his walking was not a violation of the law, did not affect security and order... And the main thing is that he has been doing this for more than 6 years now, going from North to South and vice versa with the purpose of walking to practice according to Buddha's teachings, to help improve himself...
When social networks developed, Mr. Minh Tue's walking accidentally became a... phenomenon. Because that image of Mr. Minh Tue was exaggerated by a number of youtubers, tiktokers, and facebookers, even considering Minh Tue as a "living saint" to stimulate people's curiosity...
Many youtubers, tiktokers, and facebookers have defied all odds and are constantly present during Mr. Minh Tue's travels to film, take photos, and live stream on platforms that attract a large number of viewers, creating unnecessary curiosity.
That is why when Mr. Minh Tue passed through some areas, many people had excessive actions such as crying and kneeling. Many people even "made" clothes similar to what Mr. Tue was wearing to "walk" with Mr. Minh Tue. Many people thought that seeing monks and nuns would spread rumors, tried to approach, find ways to support, and make offerings to Mr. Minh Tue and thought they would receive... blessings in return. In fact, Mr. Minh Tue is not a monk, nor is he a staff member of any pagoda or monastery of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

Not only that, hundreds of people followed Minh Tue, lining up for a long distance, pushing and shoving, fighting for a place to stand near him to take pictures, film... to livestream, to attract views, to attract likes, to attract internet users for the purpose of selling, wanting to be noticed or being influenced by some motive... In fact, even Minh Tue himself did not want to "accompany" him, because he wanted to walk for the rest of his life. The purpose was not to convey anything, just to practice the teachings of Buddha, to help improve himself. Always wishing for everyone to always be happy, to live happily with his family...
The fact that many curious people approached and followed Mr. Minh Tue sometimes affected the normal activities of the people, especially when the large group of people moved for a long time on the National Highway, which could easily lead to traffic safety problems. Not to mention that when the crowd wanted to approach and surround the “walking monk”, it would cause chaos, at that time the situation would be very complicated, easily causing a loss of security and order…
Not only attracting the curiosity of many people in the localities where Mr. Tue passed through, recently on social networks, there have also appeared arguments causing conflicts between Buddhism and Catholicism, dividing the great solidarity of the whole people. Taking advantage of that opportunity, hostile forces will distort and sabotage the religious policies of our Party and State...
It can be affirmed that Mr. Minh Tue's walking from North to South is also a normal thing for him personally, because Minh Tue is "studying" according to the teachings of Buddha, not calling himself a "teacher" or "monk". Is it just an unnecessary exaggeration by the crowd, by curious people, and by youtubers, tiktokers, and facebookers for personal purposes? Therefore, through this incident, everyone needs to be alert so as not to follow that trend, unintentionally becoming a tool for others to take advantage of.
Article 24 of the 2013 Constitution of Vietnam stipulates: “Everyone has the right to freedom of belief and religion, to follow or not to follow any religion. Religions are equal before the law. The State respects and protects the right to freedom of belief and religion. No one may violate the freedom of belief and religion or take advantage of belief and religion to violate the law”…
