Top 3 ways to watch the main 9 Starwars Films

In my best opinion

By Gabriel leckiePublished 5 years ago 3 min read

Hello my fellow Starwars lovers! Have you ever wondered what the best way to watch the films is? Have you thought about the different orders that still make sense but help you see the characters in a different light? Below are a list of 3 orders to watch the Starwars films. These 3 orders help to see different aspects and scenarios within the films that you may have missed the first time around.

Please note that these 3 orders are simply a guide and you may watch them in any order you like.

WAY 1

Release Order (4 5 6 1 2 3 7 8 9)

This order is best for anyone who is new to the Starwars universe because it shows the movies how they were written while not giving any spoilers. You also get to enjoy watching the acting, directing and filming all develop as you enjoy the films. It’s also good for anyone who just wants to watch the movies in the order they were originally intended to be watched. One of the most popular and aesthetically pleasing orders to watch the films. Release order in my opinion is the best way to watch the Starwars films. It provides the best understanding of the films without causing any spoilers. It makes sense, it’s simple and it’s Aesthetically pleasing to watch. Very Highly recommended among the Starwars Fandom, especially to those who have never seen the films.

WAY 2

chronological Order (1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9)

This Order is another good way to introduce someone to the Starwars world without spoilers but while still making a lot of sense. Watching in Chronological order shows great insight into Character development and provides a different light on some of the main Characters as we get to see them evolve into the Characters they are. This is a very popular way for people who have been apart of the Starwars fandom for a longer period of time and want to watch the movies from a different perspective. Chronological order is the simplest and most basic way to watch the films but is the best way for a beginner because of its simplicity. I’m my opinion this is the order that makes the most sense but isn’t the order that is the most aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommended among the Starwars Fandom.

WAY 3

Machete Order (4 5 1 2 3 6 7 8 9)

This Order isn’t a very well known order but it is certainly one of the coolest orders to watch the movie.

⛔️CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD⛔️

Watching the movies in this order means that you get a real feel for Darth Vader. With this Order you get to flash back and watch Anakin grow up and become Vader and see all the little reasons why the dark side consumes him. The “flashback” provides the extra details that you may miss watching the movies in any other order while still making sense and flowing through the 9 movies. This isn’t an order I would suggest to those who have never seen the films before but I Highly recommend this order to those who have been apart of the Fandom for a while and have a good understanding of the films.

There are many other orders to watch the Starwars movies and none of them are wrong. Personally these 3 ways are my favourite ways to watch the films for the most enjoyment.

If you have any other orders which you think are better then these orders then let me know!
