Disclaimer: Isekai is not reincarnation. Similar, sure. But not one and the same. Reincarnation to me is same soul, same body or a different body that didn't belong to some other soul. On a different note, I have tried to avoid spoilers outside of the official summary. But no promises.
1. Who Made Me A Princess

- Author: Plutus
- Artist: Spoon
- Status: 101 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tappytoon

I can say this with full confidence that for now at least, this is the best reincarnation daddy-daughter parental themed story. I've read quite a few, and honestly because most of them are not as long yet in terms of chapter quantity, it would by no means be a fair comparison.
Who Made Me A Princess which is in equal parts angsty, tragic, happy, heartwarming, and comedic. Even the villains have a lot more depth to them, and can be found to be sympathetic characters. But most importantly, the main character Athanasia goes through a deeper and an engaging character development.
2. I Shall Master This Family

- Author: Kim Roah
- Artist: Ant Studio, Mon
- Status: 19 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tapas

I feel like a lot of manhwas focus on female leads that are either damsels in distress or knights. The similarity with both types of females leads is usually a lack of emotional and academic depth. I just appreciate Firentia so much for being a female lead that is both cunning and academically really intelligent. And that aspect of her character is actually the focus of her being. And the daddy-daughter relationship in this manhwa is so adorable. Furthermore, the male lead! My heart can't help but want to give that child a hug. I have currently put the manhwa on hold, because of it's on ongoing status and that it doesn't have many chapters. But I do plan to pick it up when it reaches near completion status.
3. I Am The Real One

- Author: Sam Woel
- Artist: Yuun
- Status: 40 chapters (ongoing)

So far, I am really engrossed with this manhwa. I don't nescessarily like the characters per say. Or rather understand them. But that doesn't mean it's not an engaging story in itself. Overall, I think Keira's character development is quite refreshing. She is a character that truly reflects on her past actions and tries to change them. Some might find her a bit too naive despite everything she's went through. But I feel as if her circumstances actually excuse that naivety to an extent. I was so bummed when it went on hiatus.
4. The Taming of The Tyrant

- Author: Jihyun, Yusoi
- Artist: Melting, nokcy
- Status: 40 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tapas

This is probably my first time seeing a grey character that sticks to her guns. Charlize is such a super woman from her head to the tip of her toes. She also makes for a character that will most certainly put you in a conundrum. On one hand you will sympathize and empathize with her. And yet some of her actions will still make you frustrated. The biggest compliment I can give this manhwa is that it's paced so well, where everything is unfolding really quickly without being rushed. On that basis alone, I would rate it a ten. But I still want to see where the story goes. Because often times a good start somehow looses its way somewhere in the middle. Regardless, I would be so bummed if this went on hiatus. The manhwa has already completed it's first season.
5. The Fantasie of a Stepmother

- Author(s): Spice & Kitty
- Artist: ORKA
- Status: 51 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tapas
- Rate: 8.5/10
So this in a nutshell is a rebirth story of a step-mother left behind to look after her (much older) late huband's property and his four children. Personally I really like the concept of this plot. It's quite uncommon and unique in its own way. And I do enjoy this manhwa quite a bit. But at the same time, I find myself having to take breaks from it. Too many characters, too much going on. I love my drama, but not when it feels unresolved. I honestly feel like three step-children was a nice enough character range.
6. The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass

- Author: San Soebee
- Artist: Ant Studio
- Status: 62 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tappytoon

At this point the reincarnation revenge story may seem like a cliche. Indeed it oversaturated. But you know what, I live for it. First, I was really into the classicals. Then I really got into the paranormal. Later on second-chance romances. And now I am on the reincarnation and isekai bandwagon. Yes, I keep changing tropes to keep things relatively fresh. And this manhwa is both very tropey and cliche. But you know what I love myself a good trope, as long as it is well written. And overall, this manhwa is well written and provides some unique element. But my favorite part about this whole manhwa is the female lead, Aria. Who doesn't love a strong intelligent female lead in a historical setting. It never gets old. The only reason it's not a full ten, is I find the story to be quite slow paced. I can stand behind a plot cliche, but not a plot that crawls in its development. Alas, it's not too bad, or I would have dropped it.
7. Just Leave Me Be (Please Throw Me Away)

- Author: Ja Eunhang, Kotavi
- Artist: Chero
- Status: 50 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tapas
- Rate: N/A
So I read this in one sitting right around the time it went into hiatus. And once the series resumed, I just haven't gotten back at it. My reading list simply keeps on expanding to massive proportions. Suffice it to say, I will be picking this up. The emotional strength that the female lead, Adele has after going through her trauma is inspirational. Plus, the simpleton in me finds the male lead so appealing. Alas, I cannot rate it because I don't remember much of it, only that I really liked it.
8. The Lady and The Beast

- Author: Hongseul, Maginot
- Artist: Hongseul
- Status: 35 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tappytoon
- Rate: 10/10
A strong, smart, and cool headed female lead in equal measures? Sign me up. Also the beauty and the beast trope is one of my all time faves. Both Martina and Astina (rebirth) are such phenomenal mesmerizing characters. Furthermore, this has such a good measure of angst, action, tragedy, drama, and funny moments. I only paused reading it, because the wait was quite theoretically killing me.
9. Your Majesty Please Spare Me This Time

- Author: Eclair, Hyeyong
- Artist: Hayeon
- Status: 23 chapters (ongoing)
- Read: Tappytoon
Honestly, I don't think this is the best 'romance' story. I just can't get behind a male lead that killed the female lead in their previous lives. But I do appreciate the much more realistic take of the heroine, Laliette who truly hates and fears the man who killed her entire family. And I am really curious where the authors are going to take this one.
10. The Twins' New Life

- Authors: Aidela, KIM Seungwon, Redice Studio
- Artist: Nicca
- Read: Tappytoon
- Rate: 10/10
It's hands down my favorite reincarnation stories. A pair of twins reborn as twins? Why did no one think of this before? Plus it's such feel good story which has the norms of the everyday yet is still packed with action, drama, and tragedies. It unarguably has it s flaws. But they are not big enough for me not to just love this manhwa to pieces. Arienne and Arhen are too adorable not to love.
