There is a Virus in The Matrix

This is an opportunity to break the system and leave the Matrix.

I am not stocking loo roll and food. I am not falling into the consumerism trap. You are only setting the scenario for companies to increase their prices when showing so much desperate demand, and that's proof indeed of how we need a holistic lifestyle because our job, the market, the environment and our health are all linked together, and this is the same for every human on Earth, which makes us all connected. Things can go really bad if we don't see this as a call for re-organisation.

Is it not normal to destroy the forest for monetary gain. Is it not normal to get express delivery something you have your eye on from the other side of the world simply because is cheaper as its sold by a multi-national. Is it not normal the rush that we live our lives.

We want that and we must have it immediately. Yes, i know that many countries don't count with the fertile ground needed, therefore i believe the South is the promised land. This is very hard as the North count with culture and the illusion that you can get everything you want, but we must slow down all that crazy development that in fact is only enriching few.

Our society praises the one that has a company with offices everywhere, the one that works long hours to get rich and then be able to buy more. Instead of praising the man that produce for a local market, has less work, and hence has more time to enjoy life, the present life, the person that decided do not spend money in trans-Atlantic shipment, air express delivery. The person that did not spend tons of money in a worldwide advertisement campaign that will only make you feel incomplete until you buy their product. Do we really need all of those piles of products that are stocked in Amazon warehouses all around the globe? A container full of phones cases coming from China?

We need to work together as a planet and let go of the ego from our victories of the past. Yes, perhaps we can get those avocados all year round in Moscow if we invest in technology and find a more eco- friendly option for transport.

I urge us to change. We need to put our planet first and also your mental and physical health. Is it not normal to spend 2 hours to commute to and back from work every day for a total of 40, 50, 60 hours per week for a company that will only care about their profit in a crisis scenario.

We need to aim for companies that don't want a monopoly of the market, those that mind the suppliers in other regions instead of trying to walk over them.

Invest in YOU, your ideas, your community, your planet. I reassure you that if you spend more time putting your engineer skills in converting your car to run with used cooking oil, build a self-sufficient house, or if you are a lawyer, you could work in new laws that protect our planet and our health, or if you are an artist, you could create art, and if you are on those social media influencers, what about you help to spread the word about this instead of those boring pictures of the food you've eaten?

The system as we know it has to fail. The bank system has been squeezing our pockets and minds: "Get in debt so you credit record increase". That's a crazy notion in our "normal" world. "Be the first to buy the new iPhone makes you so cool"... that's another one.

We all need to stop for a minute and question from where things are coming and if we really need them. No, it does not mean we will go back to cave times, especially because i know we can perfectly run the world with the bag of plastic bags that each one of us has at home. We got the technology and the mind to make this work, we just need to stop being so greedy and understand that if we want to keep enjoying the comfort of post-modernity, we need to be pro Deindustrialisation.
