They say “if you don’t jump from the cliff you won’t know what the water feels like” in my situation the cliff is a skyscraper and the water the pavement but I don’t plan on hitting it. Some very very quick back story I’m satoshi nakamoto and the world is ruled by one evil government blah blah blah, the year 2356.

After 2 wars and rebuild periods no more countries just one world of trains connecting everything designed by some engineer in the early two thousands so no planes no cars okay now the good part! You know that cliché of hackers living in dark dingy places? Well we do we use outdated train tunnels they’re long dark quiet and no one comes near the old ones so might as well it’s free real estate the word for people like us is “bits” okay okay back to falling so the reason I’m falling is that since we have one government we use one currency and you guess it’s a crypto because one government one currency it has its flaws like the government can just do what they want and bingpop you now have nothing. So the bits have taken the codes and classified files from a security leak in 2351 and improved it one would say to where everything is free game and everyone checks everyone no one can change anything. From the classified files we found a diagram of a spinning disk that if spun fast enough mixed with electrical components and super chilled can allow time travel so I decided to just jump and see where I land.

It’s been 2 months since my arrival in “modern day Japan” I don’t understand Japanese because we all speak English in the future I’ve picked bits and pieces but I’ve been trading up things to make it to a computer of some sorts

Guess who got a computer… ME! But it doesn’t have the right port for my usb-c and that technology won’t be around for another 8 years, bits use it because the government can’t its “outdated” in our times but it works really well so now I have to make a custom port it won’t be hard it’ll just take some time. But current plan is to get this done as quick as possible Im alone though and that’s scary and I hold the knowledge of every major event for the next 350 years as I’m writing this you guys are screeewed.

Being alone is hard but there is this girl that walks past my apartment that I rented under false names (kids don’t do illegal things unless you travel back in time) her name is emiko

Not important. But my mission is to set “Bitcoin” up in the coming months get it clever name huh? Listen I’m alone, scared and, bored. I’ve spent months by myself. So Bitcoin will have to be mined by the people will they do it I don’t know but I have to try this is for the people because where I’m from the people real bad

I also plan to hide these entries along in the code being automatically released every so often the technology behind it is hard to explain but once a certain amount gets mined they halved so it gets harder and harder to mine sure you can put money behind it but that’s not the purpose. Once’s the last coin gets fully mined in calculation, the year 2140 these will be released.

Again it’s been months of feeling like I’ve been trapped in this space I have a bed on the floor computer parts everywhere I’ve finished the computer with the port I’ve watched emiko walk by hundreds of times we’ve talked even went out once I have my ways of making money I plan on moving to the states soon and I also want to bring her with me oh! And the code was to big to fit onto one computer so I had to use thirteen hard drives but I slimmed it down to just one

I’ve gone on dates with emiko 12 to be exact and she agreed to go to the states she doesn’t know I traveled in time and I don’t plan on telling her but here we are we sold everything we had in Japan to afford a new life here I’ve registered the domain Bitcoin.org a few months ago and am excited to hit the button to officially mine the first block

Okay it’s me again satoshi I think this will be the final journal entry I’ve watched my baby code grow into what I always dreamed of the people’s money I hope this new currency can unite the people into one nation against the rich and one percent I haven’t touched my coin account in along time I have no need I have gotten a job as an engineer for a train company because if they’re going to build long railed trains at least do them right I’ve come to terms with never going back to my time I’ve made a life here with a family and living here has changed me I think that maybe being run as one nation wasn’t so bad I was just a dumb teen back then in data entry 1 also I’ve seen the news on the name “satoshi nakamoto” the reason you can’t find me is because I haven’t been born yet
