“We’re recovering, but to a different economy.”
-Jerome Powell, 16th Chair US Federal Reserve
A wise man once pointed out how quickly humans will sell themselves into slavery in exchange for promises of safety or the opportunity for revenge. As we approach the precipice of a completely new economic model, I must wonder, how will we adapt. As we near the finale of a year that tossed us into storyline after storyline that seemed to come straight from the creative minds of some of the greatest directors, storytellers and producers of history, I wonder where humanity stands as a whole.
With the impending reveal of a completely new economic model, will we blindly accept relief from chaos in whatever form it is given to us? Have we reached a point of media exhaustion that takes us beyond our ability to question what we’re told or will we react with fearful anger and uncertainty, biting the hand that feeds? Will we adapt blindly or will take control and bravely question, innovate and evolve? What if we choose to do nothing? Who controls our future?
“The New Economy.” Will it be the great liberator or will it be a method of further division, a financial prison for the masses? Will we reach the next level of human existence or hand the planet to the supreme intelligence of a robotic species, accepting human extinction?
The Next Renaissance. The Great Reset. The Fourth Industrial Revolution. Are these things meant for humanity to partake in or have we come to the point in our existence where we are asked to step aside and watch the next generation take their shot at creation? Have we become the mythical giants? Is our future the same; scientific evidence documenting our existence, but our time here so insignificant to the future that we are equated to nothing to more than slain monsters of lore?
Artists. Is this our rise or our demise?
Abundance. Is this the way of the future or a word of the past?
Nature. Is it the great teacher or is it an inferior reality to the digital and virtual?
The new economic model promises a level playing field. Must we first level the creations of our past reality? Must all be destroyed so all may become? Or will we ask that all rise, meeting the leaders at their current position before carrying on together?
The HVMXN BYND Universe is being built. Will it be a place to explore the answers to such questions or an alternative to a less desired outcome? Before construction begins, we must decide what we bring along from the old world and what we leave behind forever.
Here is my question to you:
The world as we know it is taking its final breath. We must escape. What will you bring into the future?
I’m bringing some music, a book and my dog.
