A flash of light filled the room, Tommy, an 8-year-old boy was in his bed with his eyes wide open as if someone was going to give him a birthday present. He started counting. "One, one thousand, two, one thousand, three, one thousand, 4, one thou..." Suddenly the cracking sound of thunder rattled the window pains giving him a rush of adrenaline -he tensed up in the excitement with a big smile. Tommy loved the feeling of energy that the powerful sounds of nature would give him.
When he was 13 he experienced his first earthquake in Los Angeles, a magnitude of 6.4. The tone of the earthquake itself intrigued him so much that he went outside and waited to listen to the aftershocks. Just milliseconds before it hit again... he heard it. A low faint tone followed by the rumbling of the earth below. Sure, he knew it was the ground shaking as well, but he felt that there was something more than just that alone, something bigger.
At 16 he was hypnotized by the soothing vibrations emitted from a wall of speakers at a full moon festival up in the high desert. It fascinated him how one could get such different sensations from various tones. There, he began to pursue his search into music and sound.
Now, at age 33 he was on the ground screaming in pain in the middle of time square with his hands on his bleeding ears. Just 20 meters in front of him was an army vehicle with a satellite dish on top, projecting a frequency so damaging that he felt as if his digestive system was going to implode. A whistle sounded and the piercing sensation stopped. There was a brief moment of silence followed by tear gas and battle cries. It was time to run far away from the city.
Before his arrival in New York, Tommy worked in Los Angeles as a Sound Designer for Film and television. He was then hired by NYX, a top raking media corporation, to work on their daily programs. After some time, he noticed that they would add various invisible frequencies, some between 7 and 8Hz throughout all TV programs. Although the bizarre act of adding an extra invisible frequency seemed harmless, in hindsight it was only the tip of the iceberg of what was really going on. These invisible frequencies, known as infrasound, were the same sound frequencies that also triggered the production of cortisol in the body -adrenaline.
Tommy's eyes were still burning from the tear gas. It was 4 in the morning and he was now up near East 180th Street. In front of him was the Bronx Zoo. It would be the last place that anyone would go. He jumped the fence and walked through and found a little spot to rest near the cafeteria area.
Completely exhausted, he crawled up on one of the picnic tables, started humming to himself and fell into a deep sleep, and began dreaming.
Wandering around a luxurious estate under a cloak of darkness. Tommy arrived to find a giant living room where there was a little girl facing the corner. As he approached her, reaching his hand out, she turned around with her mouth wide open as if she was screaming -yet no sound was coming out. Slowly, a high-frequency scream faded in and sent Tommy stumbling backward onto his head to the ground, which suddenly was water. The image flipped over and now what was up, was down and what was down was up. He was now popping out in the middle of the ocean gasping for air.
At this very moment, Tommy woke up waving his arms, breathing heavily while hearing the sounds of animal screams across the zoo cafeteria where the children's area was. As he struggled to get a view of what was going on. Out in the distance, he could barely see that on top of the zoo carousel, there were two baboon silhouettes facing each other as if for a duel in front of the rising sun. It looked like a final battle scene from an old samurai movie. One screamed fiercely and ran after the other while it fled away with an extra-large popcorn bag. As it spilled pieces behind it, birds flew in for the picking. Tommy now noticed that the zoo had been looted. What was left were scattered candy, paper cups, and stuffed animal toys that had been ripped apart. At this point, it seemed as though perhaps the zoo actually wasn't the safest place to be. He slowly got up and made his way to find an exit. He walked through the desolated areas that once held caged animals, some were infested with flies, others just empty-looking jail cells, the Bronx River that ran through the zoo now contained multiple species of animals. It was like a scene from a Nation Geographic animal special.
Just a year before Marshall law had gone into effect, Tommy quit his job at NYX. He had saved some money and decided to spend some time exploring something he thought could be the key to something bigger -infrasound. First, he analyzed the TV shows from the NYX corporation. Every show contained Ultra Low-Frequency waves ranging from 1-10Hz with an audio roll-off of about 30Hz. These tones, when played for over 90 seconds with intervals of up to 30 seconds, could activate different parts of the brain, from fear, depression, anger, hate, anxiety, and so forth. From this discovery he went on to investigate the frequencies on the radio, every top chart song contained one or two harmonic frequencies that are able to induce an emotion or unstable body chemical function. In video games, he found the most unstable frequencies, that when he narrowed down to a single tone he found that it triggered the part of the brain that promoted addiction. New York runs at a frequency of 10-100Hz rotating at 150,000 cycles per second. If exposed to over a long period of time, the effects on the human body and even animals and plants around it can be catastrophic.
As Tommy approached the exit of the zoo, the tension started coming back into his shoulders. He started humming now in an almost Tibetan chant. When the great pyramids were discovered in 1842, it was deemed nothing more than a king's graveyard. 150 years later, the discovery of the four fundamental frequencies of universal oscillation would be discovered. That the harmonic connection and the resonant tones had a direct link to the structure of our internal well-being. Tommy would come across this discovery just before the Internet shutdown during the first phase of the American Military Takeover. He would chant to himself frequently, in turn sending healing tones to himself.
Standing there alone at the closed exit of the Bronx zoo, humming away -he stopped. A cold chill had shot up his spine, shivering through his head and out across his body. His adrenaline kicked in as if he was falling of a cliff... and at that very moment, he heard the sound of a deep dark tremendous roar.
In the brief moment of stillness, he thought about the Los Angeles earthquake.
Without even looking back, he leaped up onto the gate and started climbing for his life. The spiked security edges on the top caught his pants and sent him tumbling down onto his back gasping for air. He was now so close to the fence that the saliva from the lion shot onto his face as it bellowed in rage biting at the fence. As Tommy quickly crawled away and sat up against a parked car. He noticed something in the eyes of the king like an animal. It was confusing, so much anger, yet aimed in no particular direction.
Earthquakes, Volcanoes, weather changes in the atmosphere through ionic distortion, were the side effects of the HAARP Corporation, the High-Frequency Auroral Research Program that was built in 1993 in Alaska. Originally thought up by Nikola Tesla, and later modified by the US Military. The monstrous electrical antenna emits ultra-low frequencies into the air to disorient any radar system -therefore rendering all outside threats useless. But what goes up, must come down. The invisible harmonics would bounce back down into the atmosphere of the earth and reverberate around the globe. When the war was declared on the US and its citizens. The HAARP corporation deliberately focused on the cities most affected.
Now, looking into the eyes of the Lion. Its face almost bent as if it had a stroke, Tommy realized that there was another element of power at play. Something beyond the comprehension of humans but something that directly affected everything in the world around us. Instinct. This was the rise of the fifth element.
