With the constantly changing and developing world of tech, it begs the question of what people within the industry will be doing for work in the near and distant future. What are the trends of tomorrow? What are we working on today?

Here are some of the most viable tech jobs for the future (that you may actually be able to get today, too).

VR Development

Virtual reality is one of the most intriguing and burgeoning areas of tech. VR headsets hit the market back in 2015 but there is still a need for further development to make them as common and popular as the video game consoles that have dominated the market.

VR has more practical applications than entertainment, though. Imagine being able to see a 5-star hotel room without having to leave your home. Imagine checking the view of a sports game from your seat virtually. The possibilities are limitless.

Security Engineer

Like it or not, with developments in technology comes the need to make strives in security. Companies are looking more and more to hire those who have a knowledge in cyber security to keep both themselves and their assets (customers) protected.

Security engineers also make quite a bit of coin, coming in at over $100,000 back in 2015. The more developments that we make in technology, the greater the need will be to protect those using that technology.

UX Designer

User experience (UX) is becoming more important than ever. When someone develops a website or creates a product, they want to make sure that it is not only functional but easier for the consumer to use.

That all means cleaner, easier to access websites and creating a more pleasurable customer journey. Companies will listen to feedback on their websites and their team can then make changes to enhance the user experience.

It does not matter what kind of product or service that you are offering if the UX is poor. Those people will simply click away and find what they are looking for elsewhere.

He also helped implement a direct giving programme. While working with the not-for-profit organization, Rowan gained invaluable experience and knowledge when learning how the Board and organisation Executives work together to bring about success for the organisation.
