Strawhat Luffy VS Kizaru
Pirate Emperor Vs Marine Admiral

The Dastardly Strawhat Luffy has yet again lived up to his reckless reputation. By involving himself in matters of the World Government, he has sparked an event of worldly consequences. For delving too deep into forbidden history, Dr. Vegapunk was to meet his demise at the hands of Cipher Pol Aigis Zero. The Strawhat Pirates would be thrusted onto this path by "Fate" itself. The drawing of straws between the Worst Generation Trio, had set into motion dangerous events. Ones in which the trio of captains were prepared to risk their lives in their pursuit of conquest.

Strawhat Luffy is no man built upon false accomplishments. His victories in battle have placed him in the panels of history. He'd vanquish an unprecedented martial artist in hand to hand combat through the assassin Rob Lucci. He'd earn the recognition across the sea as the Man who toppled the Dragon King of Wano-Kuni in all out war. And so, following "Strawhats" conquest of Onigashima, Rob Lucci, could seem to no longer stand on equal ground with the Pirate Emperor.
With the backings of the Pirate Hunter and Black-Leg, Cipher Pol would've faced annihilation in direct confrontation. It's only thanks to the cunning of Rob Lucci, that Admiral Kizaru, would mobilize an assault plan to thwart the escape of Vegapunk and the Strawhat Pirates.

However, Admiral Borsalino would even the playing field immediately. His bright and deadly assault upon retreating prey would normally spell doom in seconds. This time unsurprisingly Kizaru would find himself in a great battle of an unpredictable outcome. Strawhat Luffy, would quickly intercept and engage the Admiral in head to head combat. Both Great men were rested and ready for battle. The Pirate Emperor had made sure that the Marine Hero understood that he was no longer an inexperienced upstart rookie.

Admiral Borsalino had mentored the defensive Haki specialist Sentomaru, from his youth. With such an understanding of the importance of defense, Kizaru being the speed of light is a formidable combination. Strawhat Luffy isn't simply throwing punches at random. He's peering seconds into a possible future in order to read the movements of the Admiral. At each opening he saw in the possible futures, he'd unleashed a blinding attack of lethal power.

When the Ultimate Soldier Kaido, had been attacked with such speed he was forced to resort to his own Future peering observation Haki in defense. Borsalino however, he is a Man of Light. His speed is not surpassed by the likes of Kaido or Strawhat Luffy. It's within this historic clash that this has been proven. Kizaru, through sheer speed, combat prowess, and his defensive armament, had completely nullified the invisible assault of fists.

This confrontation however is no simple duel. Kizaru, is on a mission of utmost importance. His focus on Strawhat is one of necessity but his true goal is the execution of Vegapunk. Because of his mission he had allowed himself to fall vulnerable to the powers of Gear Fifth. Strawhat Luffy, is no one to be simply knocked aside. Rob Lucci, he too had failed to give Strawhat Luffy full attention as he attempted to eliminate Sentomaru. In his case however, Lucci was taken down in a show of absurd strength.

The powers of a logia are said to make it's user near invincible. The showing of power from Admiral Borsalino, lives up to that reputation. What must be understood in this encounter is the intent of both adversaries. Strawhat is fighting Kizaru without restraint. He is utilizing the strongest of his abilities all to stop and neutralize the dutiful Admiral. Kizaru on the other hand has more than once dropped focus from his fight with Luffy. He's also yet to unveil his own awakening which would in turn mean he's not fighting to his full potential!

The final strike of the Pirate Emperor was deadly. His absurd power had overwhelmed the body of the Marine Admiral. Through contact, Strawhat would rubberize Kizaru's very skull and pulverized him into seeing literal stars in the sky. However, this situation was caused by Kizaru's lack of focus. His attention on his mission had resulted in the near disastrous situation for himself. Luffy, would be pushed to the point of exhaustion while Kizaru, would be forced to shake off the cobwebs in seeming near helplessness.

As of now it seems as though Kizaru has the edge on the Pirate Emperor if they were to engage in strict One on One combat. While Kizaru isn't as tough as the Ogre King, neither is Strawhat Luffy. It may be the case that Kizaru is unable to unleash his awakening upon the battlefield. As we are aware, the Gorosei wish to keep Punk records in tact for future use. Given that Kizaru had not utilized the full power of his Logia and he'd not keep full attention on "Strawhat", the fight ending in a draw does favor him more in comparison to Luffy.
