My first published story in a "pro" market was "Albert's Cradle," back in 1993, in Amazing Stories. I therefore was especially pleased when my story "Slipping Time" was published in the fall 2018 re-launch issue of Amazing Stories. The magazine, by the way, was started by Hugo Gernsback in 1926, making it the oldest science fiction periodical still in publication.
I was even more pleased when Amazing Stories bought another one of my stories, just written a few months ago, for publication in its Spring 2019 issue. It's entitled "The Whether App." I read from it this past weekend at the oldest continuing science fiction convention, Philcon. You can see and hear the reading in this video. Review of 'Outlander' 4.2
Outlander 4.2 last night, another strong episode, continued the blending of opposites that is the essence of the series. This time it was Jamie's aunt's plantation in South Carolina. It's a beautiful, bucolic paradise on first glance. But on closer inspection, it thrives on the backs of hundreds of slaves. Jamie's aunt is kind -- meaning, she treats her slaves well. Claire with her future sensibilities is horrified. Jamie's not to happy either. And before the hour is over, we're treated to an in-depth, sensitive tour of the law and practice of slavery in pre-Revolutionary War America.

About Binding Prometheus
I want to start actively advocating on behalf of my own work, and the most valuable part of my canon is, without a doubt, Binding Prometheus, the play I have been working on since 2019 and only finished in 2023 as part of my MA. The play itself is an amalgamation of a million different inspirations. On one end, it evokes the Ancient Greek myth-play, deriving its own title from the earliest extant work of Western drama we have, Aeschylus’s Prometheus Bound. On the other end, it borrows significantly from the sci-fi bulwarks from over the years, namely Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Karel Capek’s Rossum’s Universal Robots. The play could be an episode of Black Mirror, I fear. I don’t know. I’ve only ever seen one episode of Black Mirror.

The Era of Agentic AI
For the past three years, we’ve been smitten with "prompt engineering." We’ve interacted with AI as we would an oracle in an "answer cave": we came before its text box, articulated a question thoughtfully, and then waited for an answer. However, as we find ourselves in 2026, so is the passing of the era of "static prompts." We are now in the "Age of Agentic AI."
