When did it come to this? Now, instead of going out to the bar and mustering up the courage to say hi to a flesh-and-blood woman, the sex robot market is heating up. It's the law of supply and demand being put on full display. If someone is willing or wants to buy a sex robot, then someone out there is trying to make the best dammed line of sex bots there are.

How did the sex bot industry start? Why, of course, the need for human companionship, without all the problems of humans, was the start of a brand new day for robotics. It created a market, and as the robotics market is in the infancy of its boom, one can only imagine the possibilities to come. But the sex bot market, while serving a need for little pervs too afraid to talk to girls, or too dejected by the problems that come with dating actual women, is a dangerous market to delve into.

Sure, the Eevi model looks like a realistic doll and comes with some intriguing perks, but can she carry on a conversation? Wait, there's more, her built-in AI! We can't forget that these are robotic creations, filled with AI. Did anyone see Blade Runner, or the Terminator, for god's sake!

But if you're into it, and want to lay down the cash, Eevi comes with built-in AI to allow her to interact vocally and physically, providing an "emotionally engaging experience."

Crap, does that mean those freaky little pervs will fall in love with these things? I guess we all know where the robots are getting their human slave army from. All those rich guys and 30-year-olds who can't talk to girls are going down a dangerous path. Eevi reports to be capable of memorizing her owner's preferences, having in-depth conversations, and even developing a personality over time. She'll make for the perfect companion.

Alright, are any of these guys going to be able to take Eevi to a company function someday? How about a best friend's wedding? And on the subject, how long will it be before Eevi and her robot brigade go out on their own and can pick up the marriage licenses?

From the realistic to the less realistic, those freaky little pervs that would go for a girl like this are the ones starting the existential threat to humanity. Who's going to be left when all the boys with the power to impregnate women are only interested in robots? And who didn't see this coming? We guys are the ones who have kept the science fiction world buzzing, and Skywalkers rising. We are the ones who drag girlfriends to comic cons, Star Wars conventions, and the various other things that appeal to the futuristic space nerds inside us.

Those of us that aren't prone to the idea of throwing in the towel and giving up on the idea of real women, real companionship, and yes, intimate fun with a live and human female, will be the first ones to tell you, I've seen this movie and it doesn't go well.

It didn't go well for the owner/creator of this robotic companion. And if you haven't seen the psychological thriller, Ex Machina, is an incredible movie for the thinking fan.

Do you suffer from "Robosexuality," or the willingness or desire to have sex with robots? Or are you simply open to the idea because of the visceral need that's hardwired into men, causing us to think about sex? Men in their teens and twenties think about sex about as often as they breathe. Sex and sports, and then money and food, and finally, things of substance. That's the order of importance.

If Robosexuality takes over, there's a serious downside to the future. Over time, we won't have a future. Remember, guys, it takes two to tango, or in this case, to procreate.

And ladies, as much as it's easier for you to play hop on pop with every Magic Mike version of sex bot you find, it's easy to say guys are going to jump first. The human race might need you to step up your game and start getting guys to fall in love with you. Dammit, the future reads like a James Cameron, dystopian nightmare.

It is, after all, the personality of someone that people fall in love with. We lust after the body, as men, but a woman's personality keeps us there.

The morality, or lack thereof in some sexual fantasies, may unleash something that crosses over onto real women? And yes, in the sex toy world, some areas will manufacture the robots to appeal to those interested in illegal sex partners.

What about human interaction? If you can find everything you need from robots, what happens to our ability to interact with humans? The transition to human interaction may be complicated by the use of robots to fulfill unmet human needs.

Guys are simple, and we are hardwired a certain way that differs from women. If you can present us with a companion that will talk to us, listen to us, and be there for us, we're going to love that companion. With the advent of AI, now, on the horizon, we can get the perfect girlfriend experience from a bought and paid for piece of tech, that will also sleep with us.

When these AI sexbots start to cook, we're going to be in heaven, if we're able to give up on actual women!
