Meanwhile, new apps such as Blush, Aimm, Rizz, and Teaser AI offer innovative approaches to virtual courtship. Some utilize personality tests and analysis of users' physical preferences to train AI-powered systems, promising better chances of finding an ideal match.

Others act as modern-day Cyrano de Bergeracs, using AI to generate the most appealing responses to potential matches' questions. According to a 2023 Pew Research study, around half of all adults under 30 have used a dating site or app. However, nearly half of users report negative experiences, including empty conversations, limited matches, and excessive swiping, leaving them single and dissatisfied.

Many proponents of AI in dating apps believe that this technology can address these issues, fostering deeper connections and reducing feelings of loneliness. However, the rise of AI in online dating also raises concerns. Users now have to question whether the person they are conversing with is relying solely on AI-generated conversation. He believes it is just a new tool that facilitates faster and more creative communication. Mirakyan sees AI as a way to combat the growing loneliness in the world, making it easier and better for people to connect. By analyzing gathered data, these apps determine the compatibility level of two individuals. Iris, a dating app centered on AI-driven mutual attraction, introduces new users to a "training" phase. During this phase, users are shown images of individuals of their preferred gender, comprising both stock images and AI-generated faces. Users are then prompted to select "Pass," "Maybe," or "Like" in response to these images. The app utilizes this information to identify a user's physical preferences and subsequently presents potential matches with a high likelihood of mutual attraction, minimizing the chances of rejection. Aimm, on the other hand, is a comprehensive digital matchmaking service that incorporates a virtual assistant to conduct thorough personality assessments. Kevin Teman, the founder of Aimm, acknowledges the effectiveness of AI in bringing together individuals who have the potential to develop a deep connection. However, he emphasizes that the ability of a computer to comprehend the essence of genuine human love is limited. Human emotions and the way individuals assess their feelings towards someone may not perfectly translate into a machine's algorithmic framework.
