'Jedi Fallen Order 2' To Be Shown At 'Star Wars' Celebration According To Jeff Grubb

Exciting News For Celebration!

By Culture SlatePublished 4 years ago 3 min read

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order was probably the most anticipated game for its time when it came out. The story of Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis, who is trying to survive the dark times of the galaxy as it is ruled by the evil Galactic Empire. A fun game with a really in-depth look into the Star Wars galaxy. It was well received by fans and gamers alike, and we are very interested to see the future of Cal Kestis.

Well we don't have to wait much longer. According to gamer news YouTuber, Jeff Grubb, Jedi Fallen Order 2 will hopefully be revealed at Star Wars Celebration this year. Finally, after a long time waiting, we may be soon seeing just what happens to Cal after the events of the first Fallen Order game. We know that he is still out there in the galaxy, for now. Obviously by the time of Return of the Jedi most, if not all, the Jedi have to either be dead or taken off the board. The Force-wielders of Fallen Order have not, as of yet, been taken off the board or their journey diverted from the main Skywalker Saga.

So what else could they do in Jedi Fallen Order 2? This is the plot point of the Zeffo. A strange alien species that are a Force-wielding people, hailing from the Unknown Regions. It might be interesting to discover more about the Zeffo people and what happened to them. Perhaps even have Cal and friends go into the Unknown Regions, which might be exactly how they are taken off the board. After all, we don't see Cal or his group during Return of the Jedi.

Of course, who knows what will happen when we reach Celebration. Jedi Fallen Order's first trailer was a good mood setter, showing the dark times of the Empire. What the trailer of Fallen Order 2 could start out with is hard to say. Maybe like the first game's trailer, it’s a bit of a mood setter as well. However now that Cal’s dark time has ended, will we perhaps see a journey into the unknown?

There are also other characters who would be interesting to follow as we continue, such as Merrin, a Nightsister and last of her kind from Dathomir. Seeing her now, an ally of the Jedi, is such an interesting thing to see. Someone who once used the dark side, but now is on the side of the Jedi and the light. That is a fascinating arc to continue and see evolve as time goes on. Then of course, there is what Cal will do if he meets other Force-sensitives who might exist in this era. It is still a time when some Jedi are running around, trying to avoid the Empire’s gaze. So there's that angle to it as well.

All in all, Jedi Fallen Order 2 will be quite a fascinating piece of Star Wars gaming when it is eventually released. The first iteration of the game franchise was very successful, many fans loved it and the story was still left very much in the open. There are all sorts of story possibilities to think about when it comes to what Fallen Order 2 will be about, what it will explore, and the nature of the Force.

The reveal at Celebration will hopefully happen soon and when it does, hopefully all Star Wars fans will be just as excited as they were for the first Fallen Order game. Hopefully it is just as exciting and fascinating as the first as well. Continuing to expand the tapestry of the galaxy far, far away.
