Rays of iridescent green light peeked through the gaps of her clasped hands. One hand tightly bridged over the other trying to protect the precious encasement she was shielding. She was standing in a void, dark surrounding her. The light from the source gently started to reveal the features of this women. A silk slip hugged each corner of her long, slender profile and flowed beyond the length of her bare feet. The color almost matching the fair flesh that lay below. Toned, slender arms extending from her perfectly aligned posture. Weaves of white lace and silk concealing everything below the hollow of her neck. Her long hair complimented her piercing, deep-set eyes of honey reflecting the rays of light. They sat perfectly placed above her thin pursed lips. The features of this women were angelic, and I had seen them sometime before. I had been in her aura before.
Suddenly, a direct clone of my human existence was standing directly in front of her as I watched from the outside of what was my body. The magnetic pull, urging me back to the body that was my own but somehow staying hovered above the two figures before me.
“We are Mary, I am you as you are of me. Would you like to see?” her lips curled into an elegant inviting smile, but they did not part to speak the words. Yet, I understood them. Without a sound the replica of my creation that stood inched closer to uncover the secret that was guarded in her grip. As Mary slowly opened her delicate hands the luminating source was revealed.
A creation of pure energy. The photons of green light penetrated beyond sight. The feeling magnetized as I drew closer to embrace this striking particle of light. A fully charged atomic reaction. Jolts of small electrical arms and legs moved quickly around the surrounding shield, completely contained, orbiting in its own atmospheric ball of Emerald.
“I am our past and you are our future.
We are eternal,
Forever as many,
Eternal as one.” Mary spoke as she gently encased the particle of light into the palms of my hands, gently securing hers around mine.
Her graceful smile created a peace in me as she slowly pushed our hands into the bare flesh between my ribs. Suddenly, my conscious started to fall, and my vision ceased to exist as my eyes shut. Regaining awareness, I opened my eyes. My vision had returned to the body it belonged to, the body that had stood before me. Mary was gone.
Air flew sharply through my lungs like it had been the first breath I'd ever taken. The thud of my heartbeat surfaced, and I could feel the surges of blood pumping through the veins of my vessel. The soul that once belonged to her now resided in me. I was she and she was me. I looked down investigating the body I have always known. The small scar on my on my upper leg from where I fell as a child still raised and pale compared to the skin that surrounded it. The freckles on my chest placed exactly where they had resided before.
.
“We will now journey back to what is known as present time.” Muffled words spoken from the distance and I could feel the shift of my body. A warm fluid current rising through my spine.
“Now slowly you are returning through the blue mist. You may bring back any information you would like.” Words of a man getting clear as they went on. The void suddenly filled with a soft blue mist. My body responded forward as memories flooded me of familiar face and places. A movie projector, flipping in sequence from scene to scene. Emotions of love, sadness, joy, loss, fear, compassion and finally peace. These were the memories of our life as Mary. Unlocked memories that were now my own once again. Imprinted on our soul, infused like a strand of DNA. Forever intertwined.
“Your journey to the present time was successful and you will open your eyes on the count of three.”
“One,” my body pulled me through the mist as the man spoke.
“Two,” the sharply spoken word thrust me down like a shuttle through space and time.
“Three,” the man snapped.
My conscious surfaced as my eyes rushed open. Awakened. Reborn.
