Happy New Month to all. This is my month; the month of February. I was born on February 3rd, 1991. So I’m looking forward to my birthday on February 3rd, 2023. I’m an Aquarius, that’s my sign. I always look forward to my birthday, but sometimes it doesn’t always go the way I do it for others. I go all out when I celebrate others’ birthday. It’s my greatest joy doing it for others.
My son was born on my birthday in 2021. That was the best birthday gift I could ever get from my wife. She gave me a son on the day of my birth. I was nostalgic. It was worth something much more than a material thing or possession. I had gotten an heir to my potential throne. I had gotten another Ardey to the Ardey family. I received an extension of myself.
My birthday is my time to appreciate myself and celebrate myself. My birthday is my time to applaud myself. My birthday is my time to enjoy my very existence. I’m 32 years in the making, so I haven’t finished writing my story. I’m a work in progress. I may take more time than others to get to the finish line, but I will surely get there, and at my pace. I’m not looking at no one else is doing, that’s doing too much. I’m staying in my own lane.
I love to celebrate birthdays in general, not only my own. I love to buy things for people, namely loved ones on their birthdays. I’m fond of giving, so it’s just in me to do it. I go all out just for the one I love. I just love to surprise and make people happy. Yeah, that’s me. I care too much about the ones I love and that everything goes well on their b-day. I love b-days.
Valentine’s Day is in the month of February. My birthday is in the month of February. I love my birthday celebration. It’s what I look forward to. Was born in Elmhurst hospital in Queens, New York on February 3rd, 1991. My favorite birthdays are various years like 2021, 2020, 2019, 2016, 2015, etc. 2021 is one of my favorites because my son was born on my birthday as I said earlier. 2020 because wifey surprised me with a nice birthday cake and gifts I will never forget. I came right through the door and she surprised me along with my parents. She really tried for me and I’m forever grateful.
Fact of the matter is there’s not too many people that show genuine love to Stef these days. I tend to do for others what they don’t do for me. I always try to go the extra mile, but people unfortunately don’t for me. I feel bad about it sometimes and ask myself why. Despite all that I have done for people, they forgot about me. But it’s all good. I just wanna be appreciated and celebrated. I cherish my coming of age since my childhood days.
Love listening to 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” on my birthday. Love to listen to Highlife, Afrobeat. I love dancing, eating good food and drinking some good drink. Love blowing out candles, eating birthday cakes and opening gifts. Love having people who care about me around me. Love to enjoy myself and live in the moment. Birthdays symbolize growth in age. Aging is something we all must inevitably experience or pass through. There’s no way around it. You can’t cheat death and you can’t cheat aging. Just face it and embrace it. Life is precious, so don’t waste any minute of it. It’s a gift, so enjoy your birthdays. It’s all about the celebration of one’s life. Happy Birthday to my son and myself.

This is what I have come to know as my reality/ Pops died, I cried, moms became a widow & pops side had sibling rivalry/ Not one of my dad’s ungrateful ass seeds came to his funeral, and it baffled me/ The Queens New York in me made me wanna get tight at those in Lefrak that didn’t show up to see we were bereaved/ No last respects paid, only Lin Iraq came! Rest? they forgot about us, bad memory/ Flip the page to today’s latest days, I’m with moms & the kids/ Left East Orange due to the sale by the landlord, had to move out, the end of this/ Struck a deal, what a treat, how beneficial this is/ Every man for himself and God for us all/ The only people hitting me up these days are those who are fam, till death do us part y’all/ So now I don’t give a damn who don’t check on me man, no regard till the day I fall/ In Ghanaian society someone has to die before you set your eyes on those that never come around/ No Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas or Happy Birthday call and that’s dumb yo, wow!/ Except maybe social media comments on posts, it’s become so foul/ But I guess that’s decent since everything’s social media based, so this is what it has come to now/ Some don’t even comment on posts or send you dms, come on now/ They just become WhatsApp status watchers, always checking your status and that’s somehow/ They will never hit you up, that’s facts, but they will look at your status, I’m done now/ I’ll ghost you from my WhatsApp contacts like a killer who runs wild/ This is what they do from morning till sun down/ People only hit you up these days when they want something/ Nothing more, I think I’m on to something/ Rappers these days are dying like crazy, many for trying to flaunt, stunting/ They really taunt those who have nothing/ Then they pull out the firearm and start bussing/ I prefer to keep to myself these days/ So now I don’t have much beef, well cause I don’t have much to say/ Seem antisocial, but truth is I like to socialize and sometimes stay away/ That’s just me, may seem weird but that’s just me/ Not many people these days you can trust, that’s my reality/I will always work hard to get mine, and that’s to get a salary/9 to 5 deadend jobs that kill your spirit, but put food on the table, but you living miserably/ Or you could be the type that works hard and plays hard/Enjoying yourself on your days off, life is hard, take heart/ Got 4 of em, try to make it count/My 3 days at LGA9 are one hell of a workout/Wifey making bread nicely in live in/Not used to her being there for over a month before coming home, I ain’t kidding/It definitely feels different/I’m once again dealing with long distance/And it’s something I’m a bit pissed with/Life as a loner with kids and/ A mom, I have friends but choose not to mix much/So I don’t really have to kick up dust/By making a big fuss/I chill at home and spend time with the fam/On the real, I’m good with that cause at home I’m the man/Mr. Uber taker/Riding around in it as I say hi to the haters/Got none really just trying to be creative, trying to get the loot, the paper/I don’t party much, but if you a party pooper, see you later/ I won’t be used like a loose leaf paper/My reality is my progress is a slow but steady process/I’m being very humble and honest/May be Tier 1 for 5 years, but I have shown I can outlast em all/Like Lebron James doing his thing on the court with his teammates that pass him the ball/IT will soon be my reality, no caps, I’ll be involved/

About Binding Prometheus
I want to start actively advocating on behalf of my own work, and the most valuable part of my canon is, without a doubt, Binding Prometheus, the play I have been working on since 2019 and only finished in 2023 as part of my MA. The play itself is an amalgamation of a million different inspirations. On one end, it evokes the Ancient Greek myth-play, deriving its own title from the earliest extant work of Western drama we have, Aeschylus’s Prometheus Bound. On the other end, it borrows significantly from the sci-fi bulwarks from over the years, namely Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Karel Capek’s Rossum’s Universal Robots. The play could be an episode of Black Mirror, I fear. I don’t know. I’ve only ever seen one episode of Black Mirror.

In breaking news, rehabilitated Republican Senator Johnnie Johnson (Pronouns: HE, HIM, HIS) called a press conference from the Men’s room of the New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport, Concourse B, across from the Ignatius Reilly’s Lucky Dog stand.
