10 Thing Will Happens When We Run Out of Black Gold
Some day, there won't be any more oil left in the earth.

In the near future, as our dependence on fossil fuels increases, we may need to start looking for new sources of energy. It's hard to imagine what will happen to us if we run out of fossil fuels but there are a few key things that you should know about the 10 Things That Will Happens When We Run Out Of Black Gold.
1. We're All Going To Die
When hydrocarbons flow through our bloodstream at a steady rate, there is a lot of talk about our longevity. Unfortunately, we might not live as long as we think. If our bodies become dependent on hydrocarbons, it wouldn't be so hard to imagine a scenario where one's body would eventually shut down because the flow of hydrocarbons would be reduced; leading to the death of humans.
2. The End Of Our World As We Know It
Humans have been living in cities and towns for decades now despite there being many other options to choose from. We're used to living in urban environments which makes us very complacent with what we have and how stable it is going forward. If the sources of energy we rely on disappears, then we might need to return to the basics of human life.
3. The End Of War & Conflict
War and conflict are caused by one thing: power struggles. In our history, there have been many instances where war was waged in order for someone to acquire more power. If we no longer have access to powerful sources, then humanity will most likely have an easier time going about their business without having to fight over what little resources are left behind.
4. The End Of The Automobile
If there are no more sources of black gold left for us to use, we may have to scrap our cars and make the transition to public transportation. In many cities, it would be easy for people to switch over to using bikes or just walk around on their own foot. The end of the automobile will not only have a positive impact on the environment but also our health as well. People will be more active as they ride with friends instead of sitting in a car doing nothing but thinking about their day at work.
5. The End of The Internet
It is really hard to imagine the world without the internet but it is something that could happen in the future. For years, we've been connected via fiber optic lines but all of that could change if we run out of black gold. In order to maintain our connection to the main servers, we would need to switch over to different forms of communication like hand signals and Morse code. There are so many benefits of staying connected and working on the internet that it would be a shame if people have to put those down in order for our planet to stay sustainable.
6. The End Of Our Creative Drives
If we run out of black gold, we may be forced to go back to doing things in a very old way. For many people, a creative job is not only a way for making money but also to express themselves and their ideas. With the end of black gold, it goes without saying that the creativity that we have will disappear unless new sources of energy will be found in the near future. Fortunately, humanity has been very creative before and many smart people can come up new ways to stay connected to our world and each other even after the oil runs out.
7. The End Of The Music Industry
Music is something that we've grown to love and appreciate a lot throughout the years. If our source of energy disappears, there will be a lot of things left behind and music will probably be one of them. If we want to hear music in the future, we might need to go back to using devices like phonographs and retro radios depending on what kind of power sources that we'll be using in the future. It is hard to imagine what kind of impact this could have on our society but it is quite obvious that it would become a part of history.
8. The End Of The Publishing Industry
Books and reading has been a part of civilization for decades now. People love to read about different things and how it can help them in their own lives. If the end of fossil fuels means that we're going to be going back to the basics, we might not be able to publish books anymore due to lack of electricity and computer systems.
We might have to go back to printing books on paper which will take more time and cost more money as well. It would be a pity if all the information that we have today will disappear just like that but it is something that we should all prepare for.
9. The End Of Women's Rights
Women have been fighting for many of their rights over the years but if we run out of black gold, then that fight will be put aside. It is hard to imagine the world where women can no longer have control over the way that they live their lives and what they do with their bodies.
It would be a shame if something like that happens but it might not be in our hands even though it is something that we should consider for our children and future generations as well. If oil runs out, then women's rights will most likely become a forgotten word.
10. The End Of Advertising
If we run out of black gold, then the entire advertising industry will have to go down with it. Have you ever wondered what our world would look like if there were no ads? For many of us, the thought is not appealing because it means that we might not have the things that we want to buy.
Think about it: if there were no internet or television, how would you know what products to buy? It is really hard to imagine a life without advertisements but it is also something that could happen within a couple of decades if people aren't careful enough.
Finally
Now that we've gone over the worst possible scenarios, it is time for us to make the decision of what we're going to do about it. Do you think that fossil fuels are essential for our survival? If so, then it is up to us to prevent a situation like this from happening in our lifetime. With every click on social media and every advertisement that we see on TV, we are giving a lot of power to people who stand behind fossil fuels. Let's all make sure that they don't get away with their greedy acts.
