UnEntangled - The Wedding

Christie was still in shock when she woke up the next morning. She looked at the 2-caret princess cut diamond engagement ring on her finger, then looked over at the love of her life lying next to her. If anyone had told her a little over a year ago that they would have been back together, she would have laughed in their face, much less that they would be engaged.

She laid there for at least ten minutes, watching him sleep with tears of pure happiness running down her face. About that time, he stirred and opened his eyes.

At first, he just looked at her, then he said, “Baby, what’s wrong?”

“Nothing! I have never been happier in my life. I am still a little shocked at how our lives have changed this last year. I never thought we would be here,” she said.

He took the back of his hand and wiped the tears from her cheeks. “I know. Believe me, I understand. But there is no one I have ever wanted to spend the rest of my life with than you.”

Then he leaned over and kissed her while his right hand went under her gown and up to her breasts. He rubbed and pinched her nipples as she moaned into his mouth.

Then he rolled over and set on his knees above her. He pulled her gown over her head but kept it covering her eyes.

She started to move it, thinking that he didn’t mean to leave it there. But instead, he moved her hand away and said, “leave it.”

He kissed her mouth, spreading her lips apart with his tongue. She immediately welcomed him inside and met his tongue with hers. While he trailed his hands down over her breasts, down her stomach, and then with one hand he gently rubbed over her core.

Then he trailed sweet kisses, licking, pulling, and nibbling on her nipples as he went down, all the way down.

When she finally released, she yelled out his name.

The next thing Christie knew was when she felt Jamie get out of the bed and head to the bathroom. She looked up and said, “What time is it? Did we fall back asleep?”

“It is 11:13 am and yes, we fell back asleep,” he said with a giggle.

“Oh wow! Okay then, let me get up and shower and I will fix us some brunch. I need to call my parents and Sharon! We need to set a date because honestly, we have waited long enough already. I don’t want to have some long-drawn-out engagement. We need to discuss where we are going to live. I need to make a checklist of everything that needs to be done to start planning the wedding....” she rambled out.

He walked to her side of the bed, leaned over, and kissed her to stop her from talking. Then he said, “Slow down, babe! One thing at a time. Let's shower and eat! Then we can start tackling the things you just rambled off!”

She looked at him and laughed. Set up and said, “I’m sorry! You’re right! I am just so excited. I am heading to the shower now. Are you going to join me?”

“If I join you, we will not have brunch, it will be dinner, and I am starving! You shower, and I will make some coffee after I use the bathroom! I will be right out!” he told her as he threw on his boxers and headed to use the restroom and brush his teeth.

When he came out of the bathroom, she went in and took a shower and got ready. When she opened the door to come out, she smelled the freshly brewed coffee and bacon. She smiled and said softly to herself; he started cooking!
