Throwing a toga party is a time-honored traditional way to have fun with lots of people. Of course, usually this happens in college, but you’re never too old to have a toga party. No matter if you plan a friendly and “normal” party or if you have naughtier things in mind; these ideas will make it unforgettable.

Greek Toga is the Best Toga

Most people when they picture a toga party, it’s the Greek toga that they are picturing. This means that is best to stick to tradition as far as the toga party costume and just let people wear the Greek toga. Of course, depending on the tone and intent of the party, guests will either wear them over swim clothes or simply over their nude body. Obviously, the less people wear underneath, the more likely things are to turn naughty very quickly. Since the Greek toga is the traditional attire for the party, you want to try to keep other aspects fitting for the occasion. Be sure that the games and other fun elements also match the Greek mythology and theme. Chances are that either you know a little bit about Photoshop, or you know someone else who does. Consider using photos of people that will be at the party- including yourself- and playing around in a photo editing software. Turn photos into great wall decorations that look as though they are from ancient Greece. Watch how surprised the guests will be when they see themselves depicted in themed scenes upon your walls.
