My lungs burned as I gulped the night air while grasping the armor of a stoic tree. It was one of the first ones I'd seen since I'd freed myself from him last time. I really should learn to stop pushing his buttons but it was so delicious!
This October was chillier than last year's. As I squatted down behind the shield of the tree I frowned at the hard ground remembering how last year I was still able to dig my toes into the soil.
Was that leaves crunching? He had such big feet...it was impossible for him to sneak around. I stifled a giggle as I heard his telltale stumbling. The twig snap should soon follow...
....there it was. Covering my soft lips with a hand I stood slowly, making sure that I was still hidden behind the bystander tree. I was finding it hard to control my excitement as I listened for him, though I did try to keep still...like a mouse.
Nothing. This was unusual. Normally he woul-OH!!
The rocks and debris dug into my back as he landed on top of me with a grunt. Shiiiiiiiiiiit. My hands were so cold I could barely move them enough to get a grip on the collar of his turtleneck. TURTLENECK?! That motherfucker was wearing a turtleneck while he had me wear this?!
I was wearing a white, big surprise, long sleeved extra long shirt...one of his. And that was it- no bottoms, no shoes, no socks, no coat, scarf, or hat. And he's out here in a fucking turtleneck?!
While I was steaming about that he had somehow gotten hold of my wrists and pinned them above my head. I looked up into his steely eyes. Usually he wore his black hair slicked back but some of it had fallen over his eyes...his beautiful intense eyes. Every time he looked at me it looked as though he could see everything about me all at once. I felt so naked when he stared at me and I loved it. He knew everything about me. Shit, if he didn't by now there was a problem.
The corner of his mouth twitched before it rose. He let his eyes drift downward and they landed on my lips. Nuh, uhn big boy, that was a "no fly zone". He leaned in...that son of a bitch. As I felt the warmth of his breath on my lips, his turtleneck scratched my neck. Fucking turtleneck!
His lips were soft and wet. I fucking hated that. My leg jerked a bit as I felt my anger rise. Then I smiled into his kiss and let my knee jerk proper.
The grunt that came from his mouth caused his lips to disengage from mine. Hard limit, big boy.
It took some effort but I managed to roll his tree trunk body off mine. I glanced at him sideways and laughed. He had both hands on his crotch with his face screwed up in pain. I rolled onto my side putting both my hands under my head in the fetal position. It looked like I was sleeping except I was grinning at him.
I only dared to wait long enough for him to open his eyes a bit to stick my tongue out before hurrying to my feet and rushing off into the woods.
The moon was bright tonight, I made sure of that. I don't have control over the moon but I did always plan our little trysts for a full moon so that I'd have enough light. Amazing he'd never caught on. Of course, the only hitch is that he has the light too. Oh well.
He was really gonna let me have it this time I just knew it. I could get away with a lot with him but I think a kick in the balls might have been too far. We had a special relationship though so breaking those boundaries wasn't a deal-breaker. We'd also known each other long enough to know each other's subtleties and nuances of body language, especially in the eyes. I could read him like a book which made it all the more fun when pushing buttons.
I loved the chase more than the reward. He, of course, loved the reward more than the chase. That being so, one could understand why I loved to prolong it. I loved the chase too much and the more you had to wait for the reward the more special and intense it became when you finally experienced it. Good things come to those who wait.
I LOVE patient men.
Uh oh, what was that?
I'd been trying to hide behind a small hill covered with a couple large branches that had fallen off a nearby tree but it's very hard to hide anywhere during the night dressed in white. But he loved white and I'm sure he did that on purpose.
There it is again...a faint snap...crunch?
I couldn't move. I didn't want to risk him hearing the brush under me. I braced both hands flat against the small mound while getting one foot up under me ready to sprint if need be. I craned my neck to the left and turned it as far behind me as I could. Nothing but trees, darkness and a bit of fog settling in. I love that. I didn't know it'd get foggy tonight. Bonus. Turning my head back to the neutral position I managed to get my other foot under me ready to bolt. All was quiet. I turned my head right and noticed something black out of the corner of my eye coming up over the mound.
Shit.
The dirt wasn't hard enough to hurt but it certainly took me off guard. It was cold, not frozen, but it managed to knock me on my ass. I fell backward and landed hard on the unforgiving ground as my sheer white shirt was forced up settling just above my navel. Scrambling in a panic I tried to get the dirt out of my eyes. The taste of stale grass and fresh earth filled my mouth. Leaning on my side I frantically rubbed at my eyes and spat soil out of my mouth. I cleared my vision just enough in time to see him jumping midair before landing on me and knocking my already short supply of air out of my lungs.
This time he held his forearm across my neck while pinning me down making sure his legs were between mine. With his other arm he held on precariously to both my arms. I would soon wiggle free. I was an aggressive fighter. Clearly. After I realized my flailing legs were accomplishing nothing I concentrated on freeing my arms. His hold on them was not tight and he didn't even have them both held properly. After a couple good yanks I managed to free my right arm and immediately reached up grabbing his ear. I twisted, yanked, and pulled. He made a bunch of noises. I smiled then took my nails and pinched his cartilage. He let out a loud shrill scream. It was high and reverberated off the scant trees and echoed into the night. I could not help it. I laughed heartily. The pressure from his forearm increased right before he let up to grab my arm. He smirked right before I head-butted him.
Not a full fledged head-butt of course. Just enough to get him off of me. He rolled to the side with his hands on his forehead. I rolled a couple times and stood up making sure I was out of his reach. I paused to look at him before pivoting and starting for the woods.
"Time out..."
I stopped in my tracks, "...damn it," I whispered.
I turned around slowly with a grimace and looked down at him. He had gotten up on his haunches and sat nursing his injury. One piercing blue eye glared at me while the other was covered by his dirty hand. I shrugged and threw my arms up while giving him a sheepish grin.
"Too much?"
He dropped his filthy hand long enough to scoff and give me that 'ya think?' look. I immediately felt bad and got on all fours. I crawled over to him slowly. To be honest I was trying to give him something sexy to make up for my rough housing but it translated as 'baby deer trying to learn how to use it's legs' because of all the brush stabbing my hands and legs.
I came to a stop right in front of him and put my hands on his knees. I rubbed his shins and eventually let my chin rest on top of one of his knees. He pushed his hair out of his eyes and smiled at me.
Oh no.
Before I knew it I was on my back again. This time each of his hands held a wrist down while he used the same shins I had just so affectionately rubbed to hold down my thighs. He was also spreading my legs, double duty, huh. I could not move.
He smirked showing off clean white teeth. His lower lip got caught on that one really sharp canine as he leaned close to my ear.
"I didn't say 'watermelon'."
That was the safe word...
